822156 I'm so sorry, I hear those things are expensive :fluttershbad:. Here, let me glue them back together for you!

Seriously though, I'm really glad you enjoyed it dl.dropbox.com/u/31471793/FiMFiction/emoticons/misc_Lyra2.png

Every time you post a new story i always think "hmm maybe i won't like this one as much as the others." almost like I'm subconsciously out to find a story of yours i don't like (Is that weird?)

Every time I write a new story, I kind of just assume that this is what everyone's thinking, and not just with pony stories either -- it's what I used to do back in college when I was part of a writer's group. It makes it kind of stressful, but then again it's always worth it in the end when I get comments like these. I always look forward to reading what you think of my stuff :pinkiehappy:

Also, I'm glad you weren't put of by the welsh lullaby! I was kind of worried that people would reach that part and then stop reading (although I still wanted to put it in there).

823395 I'm happy you enjoyed it. It makes the last month of writing feel like it was worthwhile! Plus what you wrote about the last paragraph was exactly the kind of reaction I was hoping for

I really enjoy this one thus far. The haters can go hang themselves, writing sad fiction that isn't awful is something that is very, very, very hard to do, but you've pulled it off very well (at least so far). The fact that you've genuinely got me wanting to see what happens next really says everything that needs to be said; this is a very good story.

Ooo, you're not gonna like the blog post I just put up if that's the case :fluttershyouch:

Thanks so much for writing this comment. It's already completely made my day, and it's barely even begun yet :pinkiehappy:

THIS DOESN'T LOOK FAMILIAR AT ALL

Nice to see this one up again. It was really good.

Finally started clearing my to-read list.

I kick myself for not reading this before. The first chapter is good, the second is epic. I don't like too many [Adventure] stories, but this, this is win.

This really is beautiful. I love how real her story telling was; the little quirky insults, the 'and stuff' instead of full blown description. It really really felt like the way I told mine stories when they were still little. So often it's difficult to capture the authenticity of conversation between parents and offspring, it usually comes across as too stiff or far too informal but this, this strikes a perfect balance. (I'm not just saying this because 'daft little _______' is one of my favourite terms of endearment toward my monsters, though it didn't hurt.) Have a like and a fav, you've earned them.

Your writing is always so fantastical and adventurous; I’m so glad that I read this. If you ever decide to pop back in with more pony stories, I’ll certainly be waiting.
