“In a thousand years, our love will still be here.” Chrysalis whispered as she stared up at the full moon, an imprint of a mare appeared on the surface. She placed a hoof on her chest and smiled. “Always.”

Not many ponies know that Queen Chrysalis was there in the beginning. She promised Nightmare Moon their love will remain until she is freed from the banishment placed upon her by Princess Celestia.

Thanks! I'm a die hard Chrissy and Luna shipper.

Thanks. I'd like to believe Chrysalis is a lot older than people think.

Yesh. Moths are so beautiful but Luna prefers spiders.

That was good, although I feel like it is just a small part of a much larger story so I do not see how you can possibly wrap it up in one chapter like you said in the comments. Their reunion is going to be very interesting to read and will likely need more page space than this chapter got on its own, and that is not considering the aftermath and what this relationship will do to the events of canon (or alternately, how the invasion can still happen with this in place).

Also, I found a little error where you used "worse" instead of "worst".

She looked around frantically, fearing the worse.

So is this still going?

Yes! I'm planning on going back to a lot of my older stories and trying to finish them one by one.

A lot of my stories I like to leave room for reader interpretation. Some events and actions can be solidified in each story for sure, but other things, I believe, are better left to the imagination as a reader. This story in particular is a very alternative take to my other Luna x Chrysalis stories where they met under different circumstances, either as fillies or after Chrysalis was no longer a queen so whether there will be a continuation of it I'm not sure yet. At the moment, I wish to finish my older stories or start brand new ones with new characters and concepts!

I get where you're coming from, but there's a difference between leaving things open for interpretation and setting up the start of a story. Leaving things open inherently requires some guide rails on where things are going so readers can speculate on what the details of that path will look like, and you provided absolutely nothing there.

In contrast, what you did here is set up the start of a story by turning what is essentially a story prompt into opening chapters. Everything you've written so far could be condensed to a writing prompt, and that by definition means it's not a story in its own right. It's a sweet tidbit that could be the start of something interesting, but as is there's no substance and thus nothing to think about.
