Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed it! I'll be thinking about it. This is sort-but-not-really set in the same universe as my other EQG stories The Last Vacation and Striking the Right Chord. Sort of because I use a lot of the same fanon throughout, and not really because the future of this series isn't necessarily the future of TLV and StRC.

I always feel a little uncomfortable digging into the private lives of characters I write about. I have to distance myself a bit from them, which was really hard for this one (being first person and present tense.)

Best FlutterDash fic yet. If there's more of this, such as a sequel story or anything related, please let me know. Good writing, amazing attention to detail. Around two or three minor spelling errors, but it's just, like, maybe a letter missing and I'm assuming they're typos, so no judging there. In my opinion, you should try to become a novelist. It seems like something you'd be good at, given the state of this story.

Becoming a published author is sort of the end goal of this endeavor. Well, the whole writing fanfiction thing. Practice, of sorts. I'm glad you appreciate the characterizations of Rainbow and 'Shy together. I thought they worked well, and could work well given the right kind of interplay between them and the right circumstances.

I'm more of a PinkieDash person, because with Pinkie Pie's personality, she'll fit well with anypony, and Rainbow obviously has a soft side, so why not share it, discreetly, with Pinkie? On top of that, Rainbow's loyalty prevents her from becoming a disloyal marefriend to Pinkie.
