Following his tumultuous defeat, King Sombra is flung across space and time to exit out a human's malfunctioning toaster. Forced to live together, the only question becomes which one will kill the other first?

A collection of shorts detailing the first seven months of Sombra's and Steve's rather rocky relationship. Disregarding the first few chapters, this one will be a lot more slice of life than the original story.
Update: labelled as complete. Honestly can't see myself adding anymore chapters in the near future.

Ah... I certainly welcome this story, and am interested in how far you'll go with it. As you have stated prior, "it'll most likely remain as Incomplete." However, that doesn't necessarily mean that there wouldn't be miniature arcs to show the development in their relationship, as opposed to only single-chaptered shorts. Either way, I'm certainly glad to see more of this entertaining duo.

I still really like the characters and their interactions; it's not a direct sequel to the first, more like some scenes that could've been included but weren't; and, it'll be a lot lighter and looser than the first, although I do love my shades of black from time to time.

And I can't wait to see Sombra's first reaction to video games like Call of Duty: Black Ops and Fallout 3 and his reaction to his first pizza. And seeing Sombra watch shows like Doctor Who and Dan Vs. in a way Sombra kinda act like Dan it would interesting that in this universe the MLP: FIM doesn't exist but Dan Vs. is still airing.

Later, Steve asks for Sombra to apologize for eating Mittens, to which Sombra accepts the blame, but doesn't apologize.
So, to say the least, Steve never sees Mittens again. Although perhaps Sombra would see and prevent the cat from returning. Who's to say? (Well, that would be the author, but you get the point.)
