Interesting story but there are some grammar and spelling mistakes I've seen through out and your paragraphs need to be indented.
Also what's up with all the (statements in the parenthesis?) They really serve no purpose but breaking up the narrative and make your writing seem childish.
The walls were yellowish, with pictures of strange creatures hung all around (they were actually posters). Really... I'd never have guessed
