Look bub, Human OC stories... Are not seen as quality around here. They don't generate a higher emotional responds from readers. You either make everyone human or make everyone a pony. You don't believe me? Well you can look up many of writing "Horror" stories where human OC's are introduced. Their usually trite and self-insertish. Take my advice. Don't do it. But you won't, fueled by a sense of righteousness in proving yourself right. Or the arrogance that comes from creating something; I mean you came to a public place with a fully fleshed out idea; 99% of the time people only do that to show off. And thusly you've already made up your mind on whether or not you want to make it. So do whatever. I just advise you don't do it.

You know if you really wanted constructive criticism you would stop trying to justify your story and rather ask questions of why or how. Attempting to justify a story just tells us you've made up your mind. I'm just going to say it your idea isn't very good and the premise has been done to death. Also saying things like "emphasis on "sad", just makes you look like a Sad fic tool.
