Given the ability, I'd do what Twilight did for any of my friends. I can relate to her and I liked the ending. The beginning was a little confusing but it was good nontheless.

Twilight might have thought That This would be a good idea but I dont think so. Rainbow Dash might feel guilty for the rest of her life and I don't think Twilight spent enough time thinking about her other friends.
I think the story is well written and I also like how it begins. I never would have thought what Twi was about to do.
I would have liked a happier ending but the one you chose is also pretty good.

It would be kinda interesting to see how the others react, but it also doesn't make a good book. At least I thinks so...
I must admit, even If Twilight's actions where not really good (it might seem completely selfless but it still is also quite egoistic after thinking a bit about it), Twilight was really brave. Doing what she did without even knowing that it would work.
Even If I'd liked a happier ending I wouldn't want to chance this one. It also makes the this fanfic stand out a lot more. I never found a story in which this kind of magic fails.
I'm not criticizing you but Twilight. She should have written a letter or recorded another video for the others. They will know what happened when they discover the camera with the video for Rainbow. But It would be fairer to everyone if she wrote something for them too.
And also a little question to end this comment:
What happened to Dash? I read it a second time to see if I missed anything (or skipped an important sentence) but I couldn't find anything-

I was trying to show how much Dash's death affected her...she was so desperate to get her friend back that most of her other concerns flew out the window.
Yeah, I agree with you on Twilight; it was pretty selfish.
As for Rainbow, her death was written so that (in a small way) it would be up to the reader to decide how she died; I thought it would make the story a little more relatable
so maybe I could write a sort of prologue of sorts to the story detailing what happened to Rainbow Dash. I'm kinda curious myself actually; I never thought about it!
However, I realise now it might also look like lazy writing
