Meeting the Apples: Stories

"RAMEN!!!" Naruto rushes in the dinning room and to his shock there were none, instead there was just a turkey and an array of Apple pies beside it with a large bowl of stew.

"Ugghh I think I lost half of my appetite," he murmured as he placed his hands on his belly.

"Oh quit yer whining there Naruto," Applejack said with a playful smirk before sighing. "Lemme guess: ramen?"

Naruto blushed and laughed with embarrassment. "Y-yeah uhh any chance you can cook one for me? I have lots of them at my bag,"

The request made her sigh again but still has her smile. "Sure Naruto!" She exits the kitchen and into the living room and opens the backpack and grabs the plastic cup of noodles.

Applejack went back in the kitchen to boil the broth as she fills the pot with water and activates the stove. "But this'll take a while Naruto so you'll min'as well eat what's on the table okay?"

"Okay, Sure!" He cheerfully replied as he sat on the chair and took a leg from the turkey before taking a bite of it. His eyes instantly became wide as saucers as he quickly took more of the legs contents to the bone.

"That was really good!" The blonde shouted as he took another leg and rapidly bites out the meaty goodness.

"My that's quite the boyfriend ya got there Applejack!" Granny Smith teased.

Naruto blushed at this. "W-well t-that's more or less of it, ya know."

Applejack also blushed at the comment. "Granny!!!!" She shouted as she clenched her fist while Naruto laughed and still had that blush on his cheeks.

"Heh, Wonder who's gonna play matchmaker in this?" Kurama muttered as he continues with his nap.

Applejack then joined the table while the Ramen heats up. "Could ya please stop with the comments there Granny?" She glared to which the old woman laughed at but she couldn't help but smile at how Naruto munches on the rest of the leg as the rest of the family joins in.

Naruto lifts up a part of the bandages of his hand to see how his wounds were doing and judging from the angry shade of red it still wasn't good.

Apple Bloom saw those bandages earlier and gave in to her curiosity. "W-what happend to yer hand there Naruto?"

Naruto raised his eyebrows. "Hm? This, well I uhh-"

"He tried to play a guitar but he went too hard on it," Applejack explained as she takes a piece of the turkey with a knife.

Naruto scratched the back of his head. "Ehehe, Hey Applejack we're you always stayin at this place?" He asked out of curiosity.

This made her frown a bit. "Well...back when ah was young ah was a bit of a lazy head and didn't really liked the work in here," Applejack then hears Naruto snicker in amusement. "Hey lemme finish the story first ya whiskered vermit," she playfully teased to which Naruto complies by "zipping" his mouth.

"Well ah went to mah aunt and uncle to try to see what life's like outside the farm annndd it was really weird and boring,"

"Did they at least had great food?" Naruto asked.

Applejack playfully stuck her tounge out. "Pftt, hardly! 'Twas barely even a full plate,"

"Not even a single cup of Ramen?" Naruto asked while chewing.

Applejack quirked a brow. "Hey Naruto, how did ya came tah like Ramen anyway?"

Naruto gleefully smiled. "Oh well it all started when I was little....." Naruto first needed to make sure not to say the word "Hidden Leaf Village."

-flashback-

Teuchi was washing the bowls on his Ramen stand from the previous customers until he heard footsteps heading towards his stand. He looks at the corner and sees a little boy with his clothes and blonde spiky hair drenched from the rain outside.

Felling pity Teuchi gestured the boy to come in, only for him to yelp and run away making him sigh with a frown, however the boy was intrigued enough to return promoting him to wave once again and sure enough the young blonde gives in and enters.

"Hey there mister," he greeted rather flatly as he took a seat.

This made him frown slightly but smiled as he begins to cook something, the blonde tries to take a look but he was in the way. As the food heats up Teuchi gives the boy a towel to dry himself up. "Hey kid, what's your name anyway?"

"Naruto, Naruto Uzumaki."

He smiled at this despite on how cold the introduction was. "Well nice to meet ya to kid, I'm Teuchi." He introduced before returning to his cooking.

A few minutes later he puts the pots contents onto a bowl allowing Naruto to get a glimpse of his cooking and it was none other than Ramen.

"Here you go kid, my best Ramen on the house!" He cheerfully said as he puts on the pork and the eggs and places the meal on the table.

Naruto was speechless and he stared in awe at the delicious sight and dons a wide smile at the man in gratitude. "Thanks a million!!"

-end flashback-

"And that's how I fist met Ramen!" Naruto concluded.

"Aww that was a nice story," Apple Bloom cooed.

"But what where ya doin in the rain?" Applejack asked.

"Uhh..bath! I like bathing in the rain!" Naruto laughed nervously.

This made Apple Bloom a little confused. "Wait, wouldn't that give you a cold?" She asked as Naruto was blushing in embarrassment.

"Y-yeah I actually did, I kinda sneezed the entire night, ya know!" He replied while Applejack face palmed with a smile at his idiocy.

An idea then popped onto Naruto's head. "Hey Applejack, did your guitar had a story? Like did that thing went through something?"

Applejack smiled as there was a certain event like that but she still needed to clear a certain question. "Well there was that time where Granny Smith sold mah guitar!" She glared at the old woman causing her to laugh sheepishly.

"Sorry 'bout that again Applejack dear," she apologized.

"It's just that Granny Smith can sometimes become super forgetful," Apple Bloom explained.

"Eeyup," Big Mac seconded which made Naruto slam his hands on his ears.

"I swear if he keeps saying that for the next few months I'm gonna go crazy!!! he mentally whined.

Applejack clears her throat. "Well anyway mah bass guitar went to a couple of vermits named 'The Flim Flam Brothers' so me and the others stormed into their store and-" Applejack cuts herself off as he hears Naruto trying to conceal his laughter with his hands.

"What in the name of Canterlot are ya laughing at Naruto?"

"Well storm and store get it?!" Naruto said as he resumes his laughing.

"Thats more like Pinkie Pie's stuff," Applejack mentally sighed as she continues on. "Well we found those two brothers but they really doubt that ah was the owner so ah proved mah'self by playing it at its fullest!"

Naruto was slightly shocked. "Well...that was easy,"

"Nah, ah was jut awesome," Applejack bragged making the two hare a laugh again. She then smells something delicious and realized that the Ramen is now cooked.

Applejack went back to the stove and pours the contents back into the cup and pours the rest of it on her own bowl and adds the finishing ingredients. "Here ya go sugarcube!"

Naruto wildly smiled and gladly took the rather large cup of Ramen. "Thanks Applejack!" This made the cowgirl smile sincerely.

"No problem at all Naruto!"

Naruto then took a fork though at first he felt weird on eating with it since he was always using chopsticks. "Hey Apple Bloom, those two friends of yours, how did ya meet them?" He asked while chewing.

Apple Bloom placed her hand against her chin as she tries to recall the day she met the two. "Well it actually began at Diamond Tiara's party and ah was kinda scared to even step in there?"

Naruto continues to slurp on the broth. "Why? Anti-social much?" He asked promoting Applejack to give him a light smack on the shoulder.

"No it's just that ah wasn't really good at anything back then and they just kept teasi'n me about it," Apple Bloom said sadly ad she ate her piece of the turkey.

Naruto patted her shoulder in reassurance with a bright smile. "You're actually just like me Apple Bloom!" This shocked the redhead.

"R-really?!"

Naruto gave her a nod. "Yeah, I was barely getting any good grades back at the ninja academy," he explained while Granny Smith was intrigued at the blondes former academy.

"Hmm...Big Macintosh did said the yer 'the most epic ninja'...that does explain a lot," she said which made Naruto snicker lightly on how a super quiet guy like Big Mac can still have a good memory.

Naruto cleared his throat. "Well anyway back at the academy I really stink at target practice, really really bad at combat, and I can barely pass a test ya know!" He said with a childish pout.

Applejack smiled at this. "You know, Rainbow Dash is a black belt in karate and she would always invite us to training sessions and ah'm mostly focused on kicking,"

"Really?! H-how much leg power do ya got now?" Naruto asked in pure curiosity.

Applejack lets out a smirk. "Well...ah can break dozens of boards thick or thin, heck ah even stomped a log into two!"

Naruto's eyes widened along with his forehead slightly sweating as he imagines a chibi version on himself running around whining in his head. "Applejack can do that after just a few training sessions?! It took me forever and ever to get strong, ya know!!!"

Naruto continues with his story. "And back then I would always lose at most of the other kids games and I was super slow that it took me forever to break an old speed record,"

"So in other words you were a loser," Granny Smith commented which made the blonde pout.

"Granny! Please watch the comments!" Applejack yelled which promoted the elder to snicker and "zips" her mouth as Naruto continued eating while Applejack sighed and sat back down.

Naruto placed his hand on Applejack's shoulder and gave her a reassuring smile. "You didn't really have to yell at her Applejack after all she's your family right?"

Even though his hand was bandaged Applejack still felt its warmth and her lips quivered into a smile with a light blush.

"But Applejack can be quite the temper," said Big Mac causing him to receive a death glare from his sister.

Naruto then turned his attention back to Apple Bloom. "But anyway Apple Bloom I really was a loser back then but I never gave up no matter what comes up and I always get back up on my feet, believe it!"

Apple Bloom still had her insecurities over her lack of talent but she couldn't help but feel stronger from Naritos words and so she gave him a cute and gratefull smile. "Thanks Naruto, ah'm not gonna give up no matter what!"

"That's the spirit!" Naruto cheered as they bump fists and laughed together which bought smiles to the rest of the family.

"Ah haven't seen Apple Bloom that happy ever since she met Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle...ya know! " Applejack mentally cheered but took notice on how she mimicked the idiots catchphrase. "Great..now ah'm doin it"

Naruto then continues eating his Ramen at a wilder and faster rate which slightly surprised the rest of Applejack's family to which she took noticed of and sighed. "This is gonna be a long night...but ah wonder how Twi is doing she just returned so...where's she stayin at?"
