It isn't, Kingtly needs to work his Mod Magic for that (He did it once already but there was a derp on my part.

In anycase enjoy the stories!

*laughter*

A well-written love story. And I'm glad that Braeburn kept Big Macintosh warm through the night.

shouldn't it be "Across the Plains"

AND THEN BRAEBURN WAS THE GAY.

HAPPY END>

Eehuh.

Kinda lost me a few times.

This was relatively short and sweet, and something that's not been done often so I thought I'd say "well done" on that front, but it's not very pony and not very well structured. Maybe that was a deliberate affectation. I also spy a "binded" which I'm pretty sure should be "bound"... I think it may be an allowed non-standard deviation.

All in all, whoever wrote it, try harder next time, and for goodness' sake quit it with the

Nope. Didn't you know the wild west was born from the wreckage of 747's and built upon the beliefs of Boeing?

the story was pretty predictable.

All this talk of HIGH-STEPPING brings Miles Gloriousus to mind.

That's amazing! I love how Big Macintosh and Braeburn were represented. This just made Big Mac and Brae rise again in my mental list of favorite ponies. (I also really love the Missus Smartypants insert at the end, there.)

There's a lot of jarring malapropisms that kind of feel like hitting the end of a leash. The title comes to mind, and there was a particularly amusing case with accepting "bowels" of food :pinkiesick: which caused me a few minutes of unintentional hilarity. I forget what the others were, but those are the most memorable.

Another thing that really bugs me is that Big Mac doesn't really show much personality other than "sudden vigilante murder machine". I mean, yeah he's tough enough to give chase right away and be smart enough to be armed respectively, but it just felt very one-dimensional in how it was done -- which comes off even worse when it's a dimension so contrary to the  we all know.

You did give me some food for thought on how pony guns might work, but I'm kind of scratching my head about how a bolt-action rifle and the necessary shoulder mount fit in his saddlebag.

From what I gathered, Braeburn and Mac are trying to impregnate many a mares... and somehow, AJ knows about this, and somewhere, LSH comes into play, and Mac is drunk, and there's a crowd, and a sex dungeon...

...nope, not one single fuck given. Ew.

Dude, clean up your overall style of writing.

Correction: Ponychan won, with three of the top five stories, but /co/'s NTSTS was the champ. Congrats to all who participated!

6752 3. The Quiet Dragon by Squeak (6.78)
7193 4. How Does Your Garden Grow? by Applejinx (6.6)
5453 5. The Singer, The Bandit and The Chicken by Usea (6.59)

With wordcounts included, it's clear we love our pony escapism. 5000 words was the break-even point.

Actually, going by the average votes for both sides, /co/ still won. But Ponychan had more in the top 5.

Soooo... Basically, it was pretty close either way and both are good.
What a lame outcome.
