Equestria is broken, damaged beyond all repair. Maybe. But sometimes, a little dirt and goo can piece it back together. Just with a new... sheen to things.
Wow dang a 10k word update is much appreciated, while it was primarily gratuitous sex I also enjoyed the little bit of story and I loved the blood sucking bit. I'm mainly just glad though to see the story still kicking and I'm very interested to see what this plan Twilight mentions is. Looking forward to the next part which I'll guess is one of the other CMC.
6720364 Doesn't bother me terribly, the more that's written the more I get to read, your sex scenes are written decently enough that it didn't feel like a chore or anything so I think you did a good job.
After comparing the last two chapters with the first ones, it’s hard to imagine that this is the same story. Huge improvment have been made. There seems to be a new villain and from the looks of it he’s a real danger - unlike the Nazi unicorn government who got desperate enough to bring back Luna and Celestia in their first confrontation with the demons and still lost.
Futurmore, the demons finally became likeable. Early one we just saw them turning ponies into demons left and right while claiming to be the good guys. Now we finally heard their side of the story and see them caring for the well-being of others.
What I still don’t get is their reason for turning everyone into demons. It has been said that Equestira is beyond hope but that is – sorry – bullshit. Most ponies hate the Nazi Unicorn government. Unicorns included. The demons have Celestia and Luna. Based on the fact that the CMC’s and Dinky are teenagers/ young adults not much time has passed and most ponies still remember the good times under the Royal Sisters. So put them in charge again so that they can tell the public that the Nazi Unicorns are – surprise – had a hoof in their banishment and that they will retake control of Equestria. Most ponies would instantly side with the sister, the Nazi Uniconrs would be toast and Equestria Is back to normal.
However, if the start turning pony after pony into demons the population will side with the Nazi Unicorns. As worse as they are, at least they don’t turn you and your loved ones into fiendish monsters. Even the ones actively fighting the government wouldn’t side with the demons because they would come across as just as worse.
And speaking about the Nazi Unicorns and their lack of support in the public: How could they stay in power in the first place? Two-third of the population hate their guts and even among the Unicorns there seems to be a large number of ponies who want them gone. How do they keep the population in check? Do they have some sort of secret super weapon?
But that’s enough critic. All in all the quality of the story has improved greatly. So keep up the good work.
Well, corruption does not equal demon per say. There are clearer examples of this coming. Mostly it's the point of equilibrium between the mind and body of the 'victim' and the demonic energies they are being infused with. Doesn't make them immortal, nor does it change their bodies. They become more infernally balanced. The girls went through this in their stay in Tartarus. Reaching a point where their environment became more natural. Their intuition and instincts shifted. Later on they each went through true conversion, becoming true infernal entities. That brought with it transformation and demonic longevity if not true immortality. The poster ponies of this are Cadance and Twilight, who became true cogs in the infernal cosmic machinery.
And you bring up some good points, but Twilight can't do that. Literally cannot cede authority to the sisters. And beyond that, now has idealistic differences that are going to be explored in more detail soon. Suffice to say, Twilight and Cadance are not looking to just restore the status quo.
The Unicorn Nobles hold the power of magic over the rest of Equestria. The Pegasi have all but decamped. So that leaves a majority population of Earth Ponies under the hoof of the nobles. Combat magic is strictly regulated and the mercenaries and guards of the nobles are the only ones to have full access to such. The Nobles also possess the deeper magics which lead to summoning and banishment and when they get their footing are going to be a harder fight. They lost Canterlot by surprise but still have influence in the area that hasn't been seen yet. So the ruling power has great magic and the lack of empathy needed to use it with impunity, and has had 10 years to shape their regime to reflect that. Their guards and their mercs are disciplined and largely amoral and can outfight any run of the mill unicorn citizen, and generally shoot to maim or kill. Early in the decade, very poignant examples were made, and so the majority of the citizenry, especially in the cities have been thoroughly cowed.
I know the Nobles seem a caricature of real bad guys composed of nothing but villainous cliche and spite with not a brain to share between them that might make them really dangerous. Keep in mind that most of the information and perceptions being provided at this point are from external sources who view them in a very particular light. A full picture of them and the situation has not been provided yet.
Thank you for your interest in the illustrations! I do intend to continue making them, but have been so busy lately as to not have the time for it. If there are any particular parts that just beg for an illustration to you, I'd love to have some direction for them when I have time.

Heh. I remember saying this for a while now.
'Course, there's the sort of story where not falling in line with what's supposed to be liked will earn you lots of grief and downvotes from readers who feel personally insulted when you express such a sentiment. Granted, I chose a provocative approach first, but even the apology got downvoted by some nameless person who felt slighted.
And then a behind the scenes shot of Dash rolling Scootaloo off set.
Well, the update to this was a pleasant surprise. Noticed a few mistakes, but nothing worth writing home over. Overall, well done.

But rest assured more story is coming.
Sorry, that gratuitous sex is my fault. I don't really do short clop scenes.
Read this chapter, loved it. Can't wait for more!

Really? Like, really-realy?
YAY, i'm off to read
moar please
Oh right, I didn't post the more polished version of the test concept page. Mostly me playing around with effects.

Fantastic. Keep up the great work.

Wow, Thank you so much for the critique!
