Looks like it backfired Twilight. Hopefully for her it doesn't affect her brain to make her keep doing it, you know, like Spike's greed, but it would make a more interesting story if it did.
I haven't read this, but going off the description, I feel like Twilight overlooked the fact that Rainbow's head is just going to keep getting bigger with each lie until her neck can't support the weight and thus breaks like a twig, if that was the original intention.
I can already imagine a scene where Twilight reveals the colossal Rainbow to Celestia
