This story is a sequel to Roadtrip

The cracks between our worlds are opening. Deciding they can't remain hidden any longer, the princesses decide to introduce Equestria to the human planet at the most logical place on Earth: BronyCon.

This creates many problems, particularly for one couple and their Fiat.

Starting at the end, are we?

I like it :duck:

Man, if you'd posted this a year ago you'd have been smacked with a 'meta' claim. I'm glad such is still not the case.

why spoilers in the prologue

6260737 It isn't spoiling too much. I didn't say where they were, how they got there, or what happened in the meantime.

Baltimore isn't a bad city its a real riot to visit

6260824 Yeah, the people are just so excitable.

I really loved Roadtrip. I can't wait to follow along with this one.

Maria looked at me. “We're still bringing the guns, right?”

I nodded. “All of them.”

Eeeeyup, it's gonna be a real party.

In olden days FIAT stood for "Fix It Again, Tony." These days with the global supply chain mechanism turning all manufactured goods into slightly different looking assemblages of the same components (e.g. there are two - count 'em - two makers of air bags in the world, and one of them screwed up badly affecting roughly 50% of all cars on the planet) it just means it kinda looks like a cross between BMW Mini and a lunch pale. And yes, it is "cute". So was my Nissan Versa until it was eaten by a Camry pulling u-turn at high speed in the middle of a major street. No one but her cuteness was hurt. :raritydespair:

6261680 I was wondering when someone was going to pull out the old acronym

What's harder than getting four pregnant alicorns into a Fiat? Getting four alicorns pregnant in a Fiat!

that's the strangest thing i've seen since....

Scratch that, this is probably still stranger.

This story is fiction, but the roadtrip I'm taking with my wife is real.

I probably don't want to know if you're bringing all the guns.

“The background ponies can stay at home.”

Applejack started to say something, but Twilight cut in.

I love that joke. Gets me every time.

Yes, this is good. I give you a gold star, congratulations!

Will there be a sequel where she versus a midsize Japanese Sedan?

6267347 Not that I've planned, but I have always wanted to write about a Skyline.

6267490 I meant the Civic XD

Huh, I was totally expecting them to have to deal with Luna on the way there. I guess the chaos will be a bit later on based on that last line.

Also, out of curiosity, what is the that P229 chambered for? I would guess 9mm due to availability, but there are other options for that gun and I assume it is a real weapon based on the nature of this story.

6276670 Ah, thanks. I forgot that little detail.

DAMMIT MY PERVERTED MIND
First thing I thought when Luna was in the room, was her all seductively saying, "hey, let's get a head of things, shall we?"

Bronies are alien weaboos, and MLP is a documentary series. I have a feeling this is going to get weird.

What exactly does attendant to a member of the royal family (princesses) mean. Sounds like it would be fun

6278154 my dream come true Luna in my hotel room

“Anyway, ‘Ol Spanish Inquisition here needs your help.”

So THAT'S how things can go bad in a hurry...:twilightoops:

I became dank memes.

I became dank memes.

Ah, yes. In all my years, I have realized that I was born too early to explore the gallexy, and too late to explore the world, I subsist by exploring on!y the dankest of dank memes, some of which straight from the Phillips CDI. Speaking of which,

"Well excuse me, princess, I only have a limited supply.”
The condescension in my voice either went over her head or she was too focused to notice.

Did you think that you could actually slip that by a professional dank memer such as myself?

Dude, forget the cops and the army. The Air National Guard flies Warthogs out of Martin State Airport just east of Baltimore. They can probably go from scramble order to rounds on target in under an hour.

“I saw it on my blog.”

“Do you have credible evidence?”

I dropped my cellphone in shock when I’d seen the headline. I hadn’t had the chance to read anything further.

“Please, just look into this. Princess Celestia has been kidnapped by Tirek and is in Philadelphia.”

“Look kid, you are by far not the first person to call about ponies today. And you know what? None of those stories have played out. Don’t call again.” The call disconnected.

That was really poorly handled. You didn't give details of what was on the blog so I cannot say anything for sure, but he probably could have solved that by giving them some more details and (based on the end of the chapter) by telling them to look for the red lights which they should have been getting reports about already.

>dated today

Next thing you know, the story's gonna take place in the future!

When we got back in the car, Luna had fallen asleep with a piece of carrot still sticking out of her mouth.

Sounds cute.

6308378 Not the next chapter but probably the one after.

“What do you know about Vermont?”

I know that its name is derived from French vert mont ("green mountain"), and it was the fourteenth state to be admitted to the union.

The Cutie Mark Crusaders would feel right at home in Vermont. Plenty of tree sap to cover them.

There's nothing more frustrating than fighting enemies who can teleport. :fluttershyouch:

Way to blow the element of surprise there Luna. If you had let one of the humans open with a bullet to the head this would all be over, but no, you had to let him know you were there and give him a chance to fight back. :facehoof:

6312251 I have one word for you, ABRA. That spawn still makes me angry.

>chapter takes place 16 August 2015
>chapter published on 13 August 2015

This story is holding pretty good so far!!!
Keep up the good work :twilightsheepish:

With that many people attending, I doubt Luna's spell would work.
