These days with the global supply chain mechanism turning all manufactured goods into slightly different looking assemblages of the same components (e.g. there are two - count 'em - two makers of air bags in the world, and one of them screwed up badly affecting roughly 50% of all cars on the planet) it just means it kinda looks like a cross between BMW Mini and a lunch pale. You didn't give details of what was on the blog so I cannot say anything for sure, but he probably could have solved that by giving them some more details and (based on the end of the chapter) by telling them to look for the red lights which they should have been getting reports about already.
