Damn dude...

Sweet, sad little Siren....

Me thinks... Me thinks this warrants the [sad] tag.

You brilliant bastard.

Craine...

This is very good at making me feel sad for Sonata. Her constant attempts to get food aren't repetitive at all and I anticipated seeing if Sonata would succeed this time. While I'd love to see more, this is enough of an ending to be satisfying. Upvoted and faved.

Adagio ditches them because she has no idea what to do.
Aria ditches Sonata because she realizes that.
Sonata...
Well.
Sonata sits there and tries not to die before the police come from all the harassment reports.

Poor Sonata, waiting for Adagio to return even though it's doubtful she ever will. Sonata's desperation for food was well written. Good job! I'm curious as to how long Sonata will wait for Adagio before she gives up hope.

She probably won't give up without prodding. It isn't that she's too dumb to realize the truth; she just hasn't left Stage 1 yet.

It's a really, really sad state of affairs, and realistically, either Sunset and co. will come to try and help her once Fluttershy fills them in, or the cops will show up after all the harassment complaints as dragonjek states.

This reads like it was loosely based on Waiting for Godot with some clever and original interpretations of events.

I like how Sonnata is still, Siren-like for all that she's lost her powers, she has little empathy for anyone and really doesn't understand whats going on.

kinda sad that she's been abandoned.

This truly is one sad story. I feel bad for Sonata.

Oh God...

She's not coming back, is she?
Poor Sonata.

6092878 I did consider adding the [Sad] tag, but I felt it was better without because the story is not written in a sad tone. It's only sad if you read between the lines (which is admittedly not difficult).

6093860 Thanks! I'm glad you liked it!

6094481 It must be a coincidence; I don't have much knowledge of Waiting for Godot.

6096357 Yeah, you've got a similar premise, plot, and mood. Godot's a bit weirder, though. At two points, the two leads decide out of the blue to hang themselves just 'cause they're bored. They're stopped because they don't have any rope or a tree to hang it from. It's weird, but if you want to get meta, it's a pretty good read.

This fanfic could be greatly expanded if you gonna add Aria's and Adagio's POV

I see I wasn't the first to make the connection to Waiting for Godot. Godot, or Sonata in this case, isn't going to show up. It's a bit sad to think of it like that, but it's originally an absurdist play, so it's supposed to make you draw your own meaning from it. I like this story, though.

6097217 You got me curious. I'll try to read this play when I get the chance.

6096655 Ah, I think it's fine as it is, personally. This story was meant to focus on Sonata while only hinting at what happened to the other two.

6100343 Thanks. Seems I can't get the website to load right now, but I'll try again later.
Edit: it works now; I'll read when I get the time.

Short, simple, and sad. Good work!

Oh, geez. It's only a matter of time before she messes with the wrong people. I shudder to imagine how that's gonna go.

Anyways, good work.

Why isn't this marked as sad? It is kind of sad. But good story anyways.

6477059 As I mentioned before, it's because the story is not written in a sad tone. Also, I thought a [Sad] tag would be a bit spoilery... That said, I haven't fully decided on the matter, and I may add the [Sad] tag if more people ask for it.
I'm glad you like the story anyway.

Damn, that stings. Poor Sonata, waiting for someone who's abandoned her. :( Naive, childish. Poor kid. Very well-written.

You are right about the lack of need for a sad tag, however a drama tag might work instead.

7177896 I guess so. I've added the Drama tag; thanks for the suggestion.

You're welcome, keep up the good work! :pinkiehappy:

Damn, this is so sad... Loved it, specially your voicing and perspective for Sonata.

Thanks for the comment! Glad you enjoyed the story.

You need to add the sad tag.

8365574
You're not the only one who thinks so, but I've already explained why I didn't add the Sad tag.

Adagio ...I swear... If you don't go back to her ...

YOU HAVE TO!
