Event 7

You try to concentrate. Your horn glows with energy. It has to be powerful enough to fire a magic beam. You cannot breathe, and your stone coat numbs your nerves. You feel your neck is ossifying. You feel that you are already losing your senses…

“NO!” Fluttershy cries. Seeing you hurt makes Fluttershy boil with anger. “You will not hurt my friend. YOU ARE NOT GOING TO HURT EVEN ONE FUR ON HER BODY!” She screams at the cockatrice, gritting her teeth angrily. Her usual lovely form disappears and what replaces it is a Fluttershy now fuming with rage. She glares furiously at the cockatrice. Her stare is more powerful than that of the cockatrice. Its eyes are now meeting hers. You break out of your stone body. You are so glad to have your senses back!

But then, your horn suddenly generates enough power and shoots out a blob of energy. You gasp in horror as it flies towards Fluttershy… which luckily, only evaporates a part of her mane, and dazzles a tree nearby. You sigh in relief. The cockatrice is not so lucky. It is shaking in fear. Any living thing will crumble upon an angry Fluttershy. The overwhelmed cockatrice slithers away, not before turning Elizabeak back to normal. Nice Fluttershy returns.

“Are you alright?” Fluttershy asks you. “I’m fine. And you?” “Never better.” she replies with a pink grin on her face. Both of you chuckle.

Under Princess Luna’s magnificent moon, two ponies slowly disappear from the Everfree forest, laughing and talking with each other. Maybe another problem will appear tomorrow morning, but nothing is unsolvable under the powerful magic of friendship.
