There is no time to lose! Quietly, you sneak away and pick up a broken branch nearby a tree. Then, you walk behind the cockatrice.

“You! Just who do you think you are, going around turning others into stone?!” Fluttershy confronts the cockatrice angrily. By now, you are already behind the cockatrice. You raise up the branch.

“You should be ashamed of yourself… Twilight!” Fluttershy sees you. “What are you doing? Stop! Hitting animals is just outrageous!”

But it was already too late. Fluttershy’s stare was broken. The cockatrice looks at you at a menacing way, but slides away without turning you to stone. It seems to be laughing at you, at your foolishness. You slump onto the ground, defeated. When have you become so reckless?
