Short, but beautifully written.
When I finally got to opening this (been sitting in my Read It Later list for while, due to other things), had expected it to be something with Ponyville looking down on Rarity and Spike's relationship, namely cause of him being too young or the differences in their species, but wow, was I blown away! Such a short but sad story, but flowed so wonderfully and was well-written.
And I kinda expected Rarity to go with Spike, even if it would be the end of her friendships with the other Elements of Harmony bearers. Anyway, nice job! Faved with extreme enjoyment! 
About half way through I had to leave the room because my family was there too and I could feel the [sad] tag coming into play. That was a very good decision on my part, and a very good story on your part.
A brilliant story marred by one question...after Spike gets so big do they ever have sex and how?
