I Just Realized That There is Nothing Stopping Me From Updating This Story.

One day, Super Trampoline realized that he didn’t have to update the plot about him becoming an alicorn and traveling in time. He realized he could write whatever he liked. So one day, Super Trampoline visited Starlight Glimmer in the friendship castle. Starlight was a very hot communist. Actually she still needed some work on her theory, but she had the hotness part down. Anyway, Super Trampoline wanted to educate people about leftist in the most annoying way possible, so he figured that he would start making out with Starlight Glimmer before doing some lessons on the value added theory of labor with her. He enjoyed teaching her what communism really was, and was glad that she was one of his many fillyfriends. After all, sharing is caring!

This story reminds me about that one time "Art Inspired" wrote a story called "Downvote This Story," or something similar. It wasn't a trollfic, though. It was a short decently written oneshot about Fluttershy freaking out about crushing an ant and animal cookies. It was okay, but not great.

Here's the thing, though. That story got shitloads of upvotes despite asking for the opposite, ending up in the Featured Box with a HIGH like/dislike ratio. So I don't know what that means.

I am, or used to be, a fan of good trollfics when the absurdity is meant to be humorous and doesn't come off as annoying or too forced. I liked a lot of stuff from Ethesto, Chuckward, Regidar, and Fiddlebottoms way back when. I still remember a faux-Twilight asking herself where babies come from and saying, "First there's two ponies, then there's three. You can't explain that."

I don't really look for such stories nowadays for whatever reason. I guess "For Eelsies" counts, though.

Fiddlebottoms occasionally comments on my stories and actually just released a new story, believe it or not! And of course Regidar still writes, he just writes more serious stuff mostly these days. Godspeed to the other two though!

Also, both Horizon and Bad Horse, two of the best authors on the site, have amazing troll fics which I recommend searching out.
