Nothing remarkable happens in the life of Spike (portraying the role of Naota). He's your basic preteen with a crush on his older sister Octavia's (Tasuku) old filly friend Scratch (Mamimi). But when Rainbow Dash (Haruko) appears out of nowhere on a vespa and clubs him over the head with her bass guitar, strange things begin happening. As Spike goes through the problems of growing up as well as having robots and monsters jump out of his head, he has to discover where his real feelings lie.
The story told here revolves around two of the greatest series ever made, and I hope I can appeal to both fanbases. It's going to be basically FLCL just ponyfied though, so this is my spoiler alert, if you haven't yet seen the series, look it up on youtube/netflix/ wherever you can. It's only six episodes but tons of fun.

It feels like the characters were changed slightly to fit the setting. It feels like Spike's acting like a puppet for Naota[fitting], Scratch is a puppet for Mamimi, and so on.
It's following the plot for FLCL a little too closely.
That, and the fight scene was made into one big paragraph. It wasn't rewritten into a nice action sequence, and it wasn't exactly fun to read. Sorry...
That being said, keep going! This does show a little bit of promise. Definitely giving you a thumbs up here, just for the premise.

So FLCL is basically one of the best anime series ever. But... this is the wrong way to combine anything with ponies. Crossover works almost always fall victim to this conceit, the idea being that, you have two things you like, so combining them should be even better. where it fails, however, is when people take the plot of one of the ingredients and shoehorn elements from the other series in, in an interest to homogenize them into a singular entity.
What you have done here is the worst possible execution of a crossover. Any fan of FLCL already knows the plot of the anime - we don't need ponies in place of those familiar characters. Similarily, it's a disservice to MLP to have its characters ripped from the other series we enjoy and shoved into a world where their personalities are irrelevant.
Also, I disagree with your choices for character parallels, but that's another matter.
Just my two cents on the matter, anyway. At the very least, the translation of dialogue and technical writing ability was inoffensive.

I understand such and That's why I myself don't like crossovers. I didn't do the "They'd be better if combined" because I like them both for very different reasons. I had time to kill and figured I'd do this. I honestly do think it's stupid and I hate it, but I wanted to do it and people seem to enjoy it. It's simply my way of spreading FLCL to the brony community. I can also draw connections upon characters from both series by combining them, gaining a small understanding about them more. This isn't something I'm taking seriously, if I did that I'd have uploaded it a lot sooner, and I'd update it more often than I'm planning. But in reality it's just a stupid side project I figured I'd do when I watch the show. It's not to be taken seriously AT ALL. It's just for fun and fucking around. A stupid fan making a stupid story.

I don't see it as 'valueless' more so it's practice with working on things that have already been established. I'd hardly consider what I do with it 'work' anyways. It's almost a word for word of the episodes.
I can understand where you're coming from, and on any other crossover story, I'd definitely be about where your position is. But in this case, I'm not doing it for myself. I'm doing it because I know that there are people out there who wanted this mix so I figured I'd do it myself. Then I also know that there are bronies who don't know about FLCL, so then I decided it's an excuse to spread it's influence to others who would enjoy the story.
It's a way to pass the time, and I have fun doing it because I'm usually watching FLCL as I do it. It's fun if nothing else, I don't need any other reason than that.
