Twilight Sparkle had been trying to make the Crystal Mirror's connection to the human realm be easier than waiting every thirty moons. During a test of the new technology, she finds herself lost in a new world that is similar to her memories of the human world. I like the story, though it may need a small grammatical face-lift. Most obvious is that the name Marco has no "s" in it. I would advise you to just go back and read the chapter again yourself, and see if you can't weed them out.

It's nice to see a crossover that actually takes place in Echo Creek - a risk I didn't take. Also, I suppose it'll be interesting to see where this goes and its sequels on top of that.

But I'm trying to use the show as a base and not repeat what happened in the show so it will be very different when episodes happen- which is also what's going to happen in the other stories.
And my Echo Creek will be a bit different from the show since we still haven't seen many places in the town yet its going to be fun

Planning on it. I have a fall break coming up in a few weeks and after the surprising response to this story this last week I've been thinking about the second chapter a lot in planning
Interesting, so quick question: If I understand it right, they got sent to 6 separate dimensions. So is this going to be
A.) one of six separate stories which all have the same starting premise which entangle and crossover between at big events,
B.) one story that switches character/dimension viewpoints every few chapters before bringing them all back together, or
C.) we just focus on Twilight and Star's dimension while the other five are having adventures unobserved except for the occasional mirror check-in?

It is premise A.
Each story will focus on one of the Mane Six- but there will be some chapters in all of them where they try to keep stock of each other. Some dimensions are nicer than others. Some are not. So Twilight did the six mirror concept as like a magic mirror just in case somepony needs help with something or other.
Short answer- this story will focus on Twilight. The other five I have planned do cross over briefly and events between stories will effect others because things will happen. But each story is generally self contained. In the timeline of events- each story starts pretty close in time relative to each other when compared. Things are happening and do happen pretty close to one another- this one is just the earliest in the timeline because Twilight was the closest to her destination.
Does that mean it will be easy for her to come home? Not really since there's some magical mumbo jumbo that causes all six of them to be stuck currently. And people can't cross over to help with other stories big bads because there's currently no true interdimensional portal in this version of Star's world. That might change in a later book with an addition of a human dimension more focused on science.

The magic scissors in Star vs. still work just fine- I just explain in an aside comment that the technology on them is new- for a mythological representation of how I will make them still work is the Norse worldview of nine realms (or ten if you follow Marvel lore) where it is possible to get to each one somehow-- Each realm is more like a planet and less like an alternate dimension because while its difficult to get to other places without the scissors it could be still possible depending on how things align up.
It's the magical version of space travel in this.
I will hint that I do have every universe in this planned- those have been planned for quite a while.
I will hint that each universe will complement each pony there.
Rarity's is based more around her gem finding spell
Pinkie's place is based on cartoony logic and helping out people
Applejack's is a place where the main characters have a ton of family issues and she'll help them through that mess and gosh darn science
Rainbow Dash's is based more on her nature of being a tomboy and her laid back attitude while still having "awesome" adventures
Fluttershy's is a place with magical creatures and a small town calm atmosphere
Hint- I only used Disney XD and Cartoon Network shows- though one is Adult Swim so it straddles the line of Cartoon Network.
But yes everything is planned out generally as to where in each episode one of each respective series they will end
I plan out everything before I write chapter ones.

Thank you. I think? I did try to make Twilight and the rest of the characters a bit more higher power than in canon. So battles like this won't be common and when they will happen they will have a reason to happen. And demons are supposed to be rather high powered in theory. And Twilight did have to fight Tirek with the power of four Alicorns so that affected her as well. This chapter is why it took so long to update. Battle scenes take longer for me to translate into actual scenes because they are either really abstract and mental or just super destructive. Hopefully the next chapters don't take as long to update.
