Just started reading, one issue I've noticed is five of the first six sentences beginning with the word she. Might want to mix it up slightly or merge some sentences.
Edit: "Balloons. Cake. Streamers. Traditional Saddle Arabian Gyros." should be one sentence using commas for a list.
