Equestria has been destroyed...twice to be exact. As ponies dream of ever greater wonder, their technological progress steadily grows beyond their means and inevitably spiral out of control. The Alicorn Sisters have seen it all before and vow that this time it will be different. Enter the Nocturnes: a secret organization created to guide technological development from the shadows in order to prevent another such apocalypse.

Along with her day job as captain of the Wonderbolts and the Cloudsdale Royal Airborne Guards, Spitfire leads an elite hit squad of the Nocturnes, conducting clandestine jobs the Princesses would rather not be associated with.

Yet the time of reckoning may have arrived sooner than Spitfire or even the Alicorns could’ve ever imagined. This time, Equestria may be beyond saving.

Note: Takes place after season 3 and assumes Twilight moves into Canterlot Castle after her coronation instead of staying in Ponyville
