Just saying, it sounds alot like his gun other than I think his had a drum that held like 30 bolts. Maybe the game's gun was based off of the movie.

Hey, which Metro did you find it in? I have 2033 Redux and Last Light Redux.

I think that was the point of the gun, though I think the game came out before a Van Helsing movie, the fact that it was a crazy super crossbow dose give a vampire hunter vibe. As far as I remember, it's in both Metro games, it's just one of the harder guns to fined, though in the second game one merchant dose sell it late game.
