Drake Razorfang

Brony from Washington, not sure what to do with his life at the moment, might as well try fanfiction.

I would have liked it if there was slightly more explanation on how a hunter gun works. Like how the True Silver Bullets, cause the blood in a beast to boil, especially in the rush of attack. I dunno, shouldn't have bothered me so much.

Any how, other than that I'm really looking forward to this story.

Please make more, this is brilliant

Also, a slightly off topic question I had: is there a difference between a Griffon and a Gryphon? It's been bothering me for the longest time...

No, just spelling. One way for the ancients, one way for the modern U.K. world, and one way for the modern American world.

Maybe the Burial Blade for Luna? If Matt have been doing Chalice Dungeons.
Did he just drop a Pungent Blood Cocktail? I gues he prefers the straight on way instead of sneaky.

Try not to take this too harshly, but I have problems with this story.

I've read up to chapter 2 so far. I don't exactly hate what I see as I am a bit let down and disappointed. This story has all the potential to be great, but the huge lack of detail and total destruction of any sort of emersion in this story Just plainly kills it for me. With every paragraph I read, it feels like you are just describing the game and its features more than you are shaping the story. It feels like I am simply watching someone play a game of Bloodborne and there is a random pony thrown in. Hell, it even feels like the story is suddenly going tell me to press the "A" button to jump.

This is not good, reading a story should not feel like playing a videogame; it shouldn't feel so dead. If you plan on continuing this, make it feel like less of a video game playthrough and more of something that can be enjoyed without too much effort.

That is all I got for now, I probably continue tomorrow when I am less tired and it isn't 1:19 AM. Probably then I will go into more detail and bitch about how the character feels weak. We'll just have to see... :ajsleepy:

A shame about the dream, would've liked to see Luna & the Doll interact.

So he hates the dream because of incompatibility with being an old one?

Hilariously enough since seeing the Doll requires Insight Luna would just see him saying goodbye to a inanimate doll XD

Why does Luna act like such an enormous coward? They're just weird looking animals as far as she can see. She has no concept of the horror they represent to humans so what's her problem? That they're trying to kill her? In your own words she's a 5000 year old government official. I think she's had her fair share of near death experiences XD actually why would they attack her? They don't attack things that don't look human so why would they even pay attention to her? The reason the Yharnamites attack Hunters is because they think they're the reason for the beasts to begin with. Why would they attack her and not the dogs, werewolves, crows and each other? Did she say something to offend them? XD "your breath smells" "arghhhh! My breath is the greatest in Yharnam! Die!"

He tasked me with finding something called the Paleblood. It has been about a year since then, and I’m not sure if I’m any closer to finding it or not

Damn Matt, you suck at hunting! :rainbowlaugh:

Quite interesting beginning...a bit too fast on my opinion but goo.

Ps: you have to continue this story absolutely!

She probably smelled like an outsider maybe or the entire town is against horses because there is no horses alive in Yharnam

7099031 There are no horses alive because the Beasts ate them.

The Yharnamites hate Hunters for now self evident reasons. They have no reason to attack a horse person unless that horse person goes around saying "I'm a Hunter!"

7100243
Then my point still stands on the yharnamites able to smell that she is an outsider. I haven't beaten bloodborne yet but every time I look at a yharnamite I just wonder how the heck can they even see me if I don't even see if they have eyes so my guess is that they see by smell and if it has an outsider smell instead of a normal yharnamite smell then its an outsider and must die If they do have eyes and im just blind for not noticing that then they might relie on smell when attacking hunters plus is that big guy with the brick for a weapon really a yharnamite and not a beast?

7101540 Nope. Yharnamites hate Hunters because they're part of the Healing Church. Hunters and the like were given the authority to murder anyone they suspected of having the Beast Blood. They then always turned into the very worst of the Beasts.

When the Yharnamites are screaming "it's all your fault!" At you, it's true in that you're a Hunter and Hunters are very much to blame for a lot of what had happened in Yharnam.

Luna would smell like perfume. Hunters would REAK of blood. Outsiders are looked down on but we never see any evidence for them being outright attacked.

We do, however, have evidence for why the Hunters are hated so much.

You can say "but this means this" all you want but if you can't back it up with anything then all it will ever be is what you think. Not fact.

7101722
Im think were gonna have to agree to disagree. I've seen how they act and so far to me I think all the yharnamites are beasts in their own way just conscious instead of you know dead. I'll stick with my opinion and you'll stick with your opinion and by the way theres nothing wrong being factual but don't be a jerk about it the next time someone try's discussing it with you though you did put up a good idea in my mind about how bloodborne works.

7101784 I've actually just remembered that there are fully sapient beasts that can talk but still kill other Yharnamites.

Following that logic they would likely attack any outsiders out of bloodlust.

You're probably right in this case. Although they should have been more confused because Luna is a horse woman that talks. They would still kill her but a few seconds or even minutes of stunned silence would be appropriate.

7103726
True but then again bloodlust might have destroyed a stun silence...not to sure about that but that could be true.

I see why he has been hunting so long. Too dumb to level up and too stupid to get directions in the Dream.

Luna is not depicted as disturbed as she should be. Oh sure, when the story focuses on her she does, but otherwise not more than minor blurbs about her being frightened or something. Also, this hunter is a moron. He also commits basically every error any DS/BB player can. Saving echoes, lugging around everything, not leveling, not using merchants. Hell, he even baited Beasts to the incense “safe” area where his charge he is protecting is currently at. He also wastes blood vials instead of a rally and despite his year of experience he mis-times a heavily telegraphed attack.
