The human known as Dave suddenly finds himself in the magical land of Equestria. Things go south pretty quickly after that.

That's a good question, why are there never any girls that end up in Equestria, only guys?

5868205 Lol, indeed. I could have kept him there, had a pony love him for no good reason, made him the 'chosen one', and at some point turned him into a pony, as per other well traveled roads. Maybe a sequel at some point where he goes back. Something else I noticed is that I haven't run across any stories with several people crossing over, except for the ones where they are turned into ponies. One Horn Too Many- http://www.fimfiction.net/bookshelf/549464/tracking?order=date_added&page=6 is an excellent story of that type, and I killed Fiddy Men not Ponies- http://www.fimfiction.net/story/131521/i-killed-fiddy-men-not-ponies brings the entire cast of 'King of the Hill' into Equestria, and immediately ponify's them.
Also, I haven't actually found any female in Equestria stories before, so I'll for sure to check out that group, and I had been wondering for awhile why there weren't any stories that brought Megan into the current continuity, so I'll be checking that one out as well. Thx.
