This series is about characters from all the anime shows around! The only story that YOU decide who fights next! We take an anime character and form a reason for them to appear in the My Little Pony world who will meet their unknowing opponent (methods will be different depending on both personalities) which they will fight it out till there is only one winner.
Rules and battle engagement terms (PLEASE READ!!):
*Everyone chosen will be up to date with their power levels and skills unless stated, for example: Goku from season two in Dragon Ball Z versus Twilight from season four. Otherwise they will be locked in from their last seen episode
*If you want to choose the next two combatants, you must first put in your pair that you want to see fight and for the anime character, you must put down their full name and anime series name (Example: Kirito-kun from SAO vs Applejack). After you put down your selection, you must have at minimal of 3 likes (Will go up as the story grows in followers) and you can also like it yourself, but you must have 3 likes, no restrictions on how they get there. Lastly I will be the last judge of the choice. If I think it would be an interesting match, I'll start writing and will inform you privately. Please be fair in your selections.
*If you are selecting an OC to battle, it has to be a fairly popular OC (example: Mic the Microphone, Wooden Toaster , Fluffle Puff, ect.) If you make a god like OC and say they are popular, I WILL find out the truth. I have my own personal brony encyclopedia as a friend who will check to see if they are a well known OC. These OC's may be included from stories, media, youtube, and just in general the brony community itself.
*If you are selecting an OC from a popular story, then please put a link of that story so that I may check it out and learn the OC before writing the story.
*Different versions of the main cast of My Little Pony are acceptable selections as well! For example: Psycho Twi, Murder Shy, Cupcakes Pinkie Pie, ect. All different forms will be researched by my friend who will give me background information about all said formations.
* Lastly, this story will not go on without you guys! I had this idea for a year but my followers was just too little, so I had to wait till my group got bigger. I will write the first two myself, but the more active you guys are in choosing a new battle match, the quicker matches can be made and I can start writing them! So we will need to work together on this, so I hope you guys are ready! A 100% original idea and a kick A theme, so enjoy my lovely friends!

I'm going to be honest. When I first saw this story, my hopes were low and my fears were high. Skimming through to see how you'd handle the battles, I feel as though my initial take was justified. There's no real way to justifiably have these battles without them being completely broken and one-sided. This first battle is proof as that.
Luffy is a character that doesn't appear to have many special powers going for him. As far as I'm aware, he has heightened strength, durability and extendable limbs. We can owe that lack of knowledge to a lack of personal interest in One Piece. Chrysalis is a Changeling Queen that can use magic, but we're not really shown to what extent her magic abilities can go.
The problem with this battle? You've taken Chrysalis from after her failed assault on Canterlot, which is often regarded in the fandom has her being heavily depowered. She's not given a fair shake, as Luffy appears to be at near, if not full, power from the get go, leaving Chrysalis at a severe disadvantage. That makes this battle completely pointless (not that any future ones would be any different) since Chrysalis isn't shown here to be able to do anything more to Luffy than singe his skin slightly.
And this is just Chapter 1. Suggestions given in the comments would be way worse, such as this one.

The idea is nice and all, but I can't see how it would plausibly work.

As for the rest of your comment, no. I studied for years for these first two battles. Luffy being fully powered? Hell no, I took him at that level of power because in later episodes, he has the ability t5o combine gear 2 and 3 AND turn his fists and body parts into metal, as well as take a full metal fist and burst it into flames, then combining the other said abilities together. I thought THAT would have been overpowering. Queen Chrysalis is correct, and was actually beefed up a little from other fimfictions. Don't get me wrong, that powerful beam attack of her's is indeed powerful! It did a lot of damage to Luffy during the fight, but he also has a VERy strong power of will, so I added that into the equation. Also I didn't exactly take her from her 'depowered' state. I had her at full power right before her defeat in the canterlot wedding episode. I love MLP, and I love anime, so I have a very strong sense to characters and their sense of skill. I do not favor one over the other while figuring out who is the best fighter. For example, the one I am writing right this minute is one of my uult most favorite anime's, but while doing the math, it looks like he will be loosing. I expect that animes will be winning more fights than MLP, but that is because anime is more about war, battles, and earth shattering fights! MLP is a peaceful, loving, caring show. . . that's why I include OC's from other stories, videos, and stuff into it to make it a tad bit more fair. So please trust me, everything is fairly judged and calculated. I also have two other people helping me with figuring out the future victors! The only far-fetched thing about this series is how the anime character's will be visiting the My Little Pony world!

See, reading that about Luffy just makes this battle even worse in my eyes. The idea that you took him from a point in his story where he's weaker than full power in order to try to make the actual battle more fair just ruins the whole thing for me.
A fair, debatable battle would be one where all parties involved would be at full canon strength. Both parties are depowered here, by your own story and admission, with Chrysalis getting the worst of it. Luffy gets arbitrarily plucked while Chrysalis is staging a second siege attempt, which is clearly after her strongest point. If, say, you had the Magic Man pull both combatants from their canon peaks, such as Luffy as you described him and Chrysalis just before Celestia tries to fight her off (and I only picked that moment because as far as I'm aware that is when she's at her strongest in the show, and I'm not going to consider the comics because they're a separate canon from the show), then it would've been fair. Even? No, not by any means, but it would be fair.
If the battles were more fair and balanced, I might be able to get behind this setup. As it stands, though, I can't bring myself to have more interest. I'm sorry, but that's how I feel.

True, I did depower Luffy to make it more fair, but if I took him at his strongest, it would have been a quick fight. His will alone can drop people without him even touching them. I mean that is WAY OP! If it makes you feel better, such things will not be happening after the first one. Even now I am grabbing the two challengers at their peak of power. I merely altered this one for a more entertaining battle. If you are not interested still then I am sorry that you did not enjoy, and that you made some very valid points

5832084 Hence the OC option. Also not true, some ponies could take on some Anime characters. Yes, anime will most likely win more than half the time, but some have a real fighting chance. For example, if Applejack were to take on Sakura in a fight, she has a real fighting chance! I mean all she is good for is being a medic. Sure that raw power helps, but Applejack might win (I would have to plan that out for a real outcome) but if you want proof, then stick around. I'm sure you will be surprised by some of the outcomes!

Applejack can get taken down by a fit human! What makes you think she can take down a shinobi, a human with near super-human levels of strength, who has been trained since childhood for killing. This was an interesting fight. I think the ending was appropriate too. Also another thing. At the end you said fatality. Luffy doesn't kill his enemies, more like beat them to a pulp for trying to do something bad. But then again, that is what happened. Sorry.

5834817 Through out the entire show, Sakura has held back every ninja team she had ever been on. The only reason why she took down an Akasuki member was because a master puppet master (That kinda confused me for a second XD ) was controlling her through most of it. She is a medic. . . that's about it, one in a while the creators try to make her look all big, bad, and strong but she is almost always the damsel in distress. Applejack is the most physically strongest pony in the group. Her getting taken down by a human? Now you're just talking about fan fictions. She can break boulders with her back kick. So yes, I believe that would indeed be a fair fight.

Haven't read it yet, don't really have time today, but I would strongly suggest you ignore the hate and the heckling, and just keep doing what you want to do with this story. It's obviously silly and pointless, and that's okay for a story like this. People who are saying "It's shit because anime" are pathetic little turds whose mothers never spanked them hard enough when they made fun of fat/black/gay people at the grocery store, who live for saying stupid, hurtful things just to get a reaction out of you. Don't give them that satisfaction. They're not worth your time. I like what you got going on here. A lot of people will be turned off just from the anime aspect, and though i'm not the biggest anime fan, I do love fight scenes, which is practically what this story is. Keep going with it!
