After being defeated almost as soon as he returned thanks largely in part to Spike the Dragon, Sombra calls in a little extradimensional help. This comes in the form of our main character Richard, a history buff with a love for trench coats. Will he be able to drag Sombra back into the physical world or will Sombra get frustrated and kill him? Most importantly, can he ever return home? Nopony knows this for sure, but they can all agree upon one thing. This will go down in history.

This seems like a interesting read at first sight. I am curious how this will continue and how your guy will get the city to hate Cadence and Shining Armor. Perhaps let a friendship come to existence between Sombra and your protagonist or a kind of mutual Alliance. After all an evil king is still a king and surely Sombra possessed some real allies back in the day rather than only people he threatened into doing his bidding.

Great partnertship well as great as one between Sombra and this guy could be at this moment that is. Both need some time getting along with the other after all a thousand years isolement in the ice doesn't improve your social skills and the protagonist just got taken from his home world by an evil cloud demon. Considering his right arm is made of crystal perhaps he could gain the ability to change it into weapons like spears or tools like drills and considering it is Sombra crystal (obsidian if I remember correctly) perhaps he could gain the ability to do magical feats with it like a unicorn uses his horn this guy uses his righ arm.
Also I vote for making this guy loyal to Sombra even if it was just for the fact I can't think of a story where a human actually helps Sombra. Well not one worth mentioning at least. (If someone can prove me incorrect on this matter feel free to, I am always interested in some good Sombra stories).
I do wonder how he will deal with the crystal ponies and more specifically with princess Cadence and Shining Armor and if Twilight and the mane six are coming into play and finally what will Spike's roll be in this all.

5852472 This is partially true. Technically, there was no Czar but Nicholas still held the title. He also claimed the title of emperor as well but I only used the first half of his title because he gave himself a damn long name.
