After being chased out of the town she helped create, Starlight can't help but feel completely alone in her quest to spread equality across Equestria.
That's when she stumbles upon a strange creature called a human named Amon who shares the same interest; Equality. They both take a liking to each other and a strange but powerful relationship forms as they decide to use their ideals, equalize all of Equestria, and in turn, make sweet equality together!
Events take place before The Cutie Remarking

Well, people are striking the iron while it's still hot, I'll say that much.
And then, they find the other is not equal and they begin to battle to make the other equal.
And then Instrumentality happens and everypony becomes Tang!
I was adding this into the folders of Starlight Glimmer (I'm a admin) and I just stopped by to say this is genius. I'll read it later!

The biggest problem with this story is fairly simple: It's way too long. There's really nothing to the story other than "hey, wouldn't it be funny if Starlight and Amon met?" And yeah, that would be funny, but that by itself isn't enough to sustain a story of this length. The story synopsis is 77 words, and the story is basically just taking that 77-word joke and padding it out to over 4000 words. Stuff like them actually taking over Equestria (which felt wildly implausible, even for a comedy piece) or the rather lengthy exposition at the start didn't really add anything to the joke other than belaboring the point. I think it would've worked better had they just met, traded histories (more briefly, though) and then head off to "make sweet equality together" and have the story end there. The joke remains the same, but it does it much faster and doesn't unnecessarily stretch it out.
That said, despite the flaws in the execution (again, the fact it's way too long for its simple premise), the basic premise is quite humorous, if a little obvious. "Make sweet equality together" was the highlight.
And then... Korra woke up after the weirdest dream of her life
You know, now that I think about it, MLP kinda ripped off Legend of Korra. Either that, or it's one hell of a coincidence.
