What is this a crossover of?
Oh CMC's, What horrible atrocities they will see.
You're story is pretty good. but i can't help but that Jack Armstrong is a Gary Stu.
but still, can't wait for the next chapter.
That was some intense action right there!
Though I'm a little surprised Rarity did not faint once.
Anyway grate chapter can't wait to see where this goes.
-Fin
What ever happened to 'Just shoot the bastard'?
Still a horrifyingly great chapter.
good work! (Also i can see this after watching sisterhooves special that rarity would fear that sweetie would hate her for not being the sister she could be for her.\
btw here some lovecraft stuff you may want to know
Nyarlathotep
Nyarlathotep, also known as the Crawling Chaos, is a malign deity in the Cthulhu Mythos fictional universe created by H. P. Lovecraft. First appearing in Lovecraft's 1920 prose poem of the same name, he was later mentioned in other works by Lovecraft and by other writers and in the tabletop roleplaying games making use of the Cthulhu Mythos. Later writers describe him as one of the Outer Gods.
Nyarlathotep differs from the other beings in a number of ways. Most of them are exiled to stars, like Yog-Sothoth and Hastur, or sleeping and dreaming like Cthulhu; Nyarlathotep, however, is active and frequently walks the Earth in the guise of a human being, usually a tall, slim, joyous man. He has "a thousand" other forms, most of these reputed to be maddeningly horrific. Most of the Outer Gods have their own cults serving them; Nyarlathotep seems to serve these cults and take care of their affairs in their absence. Most of them use strange alien languages, while Nyarlathotep uses human languages and can be mistaken for a human being. Most importantly, while the other Outer Gods and Great Old Ones are often described as mindless or unfathomable, rather than truly malevolent, Nyarlathotep delights in cruelty, is deceptive and manipulative, and even cultivates followers and uses propaganda to achieve his goals. In this regard, he is probably the most human-like among them.
Nyarlathotep enacts the will of the Outer Gods, and is their messenger, heart and soul; he is also a servant of Azathoth, whose wishes he immediately fulfills. Unlike the other Outer Gods, causing madness is more important and enjoyable than death and destruction to Nyarlathotep. (I see him being the one to cause the elements to land there, to see how well they handle a true threat, maybe also seeing the cmc and launching them there.)
and the Mi-go
The Mi-go are a race of extraterrestrials in the Cthulhu Mythos created by H. P. Lovecraft and others. The name was first applied to the creatures in Lovecraft's short story "The Whisperer in Darkness" (1931), taking up a reference to 'What fungi sprout in Yuggoth' in his sonnet cycle Fungi from Yuggoth (1929–30) and there describing the contrasting vegetation on a couple of alien dream-worlds.
The Mi-go are large, pinkish, fungoid, crustacean-like entities the size of a man with a "convoluted ellipsoid" composed of pyramided, fleshy rings and covered in antennae where a head would normally be. According to two reports in the original short story, their bodies consist of a form of matter that does not occur naturally on Earth. Interestingly, they are capable of going into suspended animation until softened and reheated by the sun or some other source of heat. They are about 5 feet (1.5 m) long, and their crustacean-like bodies bear numerous sets of paired appendages. They also possess a pair of membranous bat-like wings which are used to fly through the "ether" of outer space (a scientific concept which is now discredited). The wings do not function well on Earth. Several other races in Lovecraft's Mythos have wings like these as well.
The Mi-go can transport humans from Earth to Pluto (and beyond) and back again by removing the subject's brain and placing it into a "brain cylinder", which can be attached to external devices to allow it to see, hear, and speak.
In The Whisperer in Darkness the Mi-go are heard to give praise to Nyarlathotep and Shub-Niggurath, suggesting some form of worship, although in newer works by authors other than Lovecraft, the Mi'Go are at war with the Elder Gods. Their moral system is completely alien, making them seem highly malicious from a human perspective.
(I can see one hunting twilight like a beast, its body warped by zalgo.
good story (And now the cmc head out to find what happen to there loves one, the question is, will they survive
Interesting, and good mention of cupcake (Though now i see both rarity and fluttershy wondering what cause rainbow to paint pinkie like THAT.) so the search continue,
ah interesting choice, though surprise applejack fall for the illusion so easily (then again it is sorta poetic sense she was also the first corrupted by discord. and again if you add a Mi-go i still see it trying to kill twilight for surgical parts (They are distinguished by their mastery in various fields of science, especially surgery.) though i see one of the others trying to use the creature hatred for the elder gods by saying its doings enemy work if it did.)
Also good for you fluttershy for being able to fight that illusion (And saving rd from fake spitfire). your definately getting good characterization.
Damn, that rat was scary.
Hehe, the ponies are weak-willed and can't follow simple instructions.
This pleases me.
Wow... they choose a crappy brain controller for AJ (i guess that was a smoke screen for there next trap though sense aj didn't realize how TRULY dangerous was till it was too late, good thing fluttershy didn't buy it... though blowing her brains out will still be a sick kick to them anyway) lets see, theres was horror, then desire, that's leave rage (And something tells me that one will be just as bad as horror.)
new rule, warn newbie in explicit about horror of the place in case they never experience the TRUE terror of this place first hand yet. good story thus far
That was insane.
I was worried for a minute that the story was dead, glad to see it's not.
WELCOME BACK! good story thus far if i do say, hmm, i take the big mac that was shown by AJ is the one in sweet apple massacre.
61353 A workaholic peasant to be exact. But a Sweet Apple Massacre Big Macintosh could work too.

Nice job by the way!
THE best fic I've ever read, you sir are badass
I love you (no homo)
I like it, but the present tense is throwing me off.
Did that man...pull another human's heart out? Excuse me for a moment.
It's still a good story, and I'm still sicked by the sudden heart removal...
Okay, I have now just witnessed a filly tear open a mare and eat it from the inside out. I thought tearing out a heart was gross and I had no idea. Why am I still reading this?
YAY! YOU TOOK MY ADVICE!
R'lyeh? OSHIT!
Jack is best and most badass pony
243133 Human

pony
Interesting chap, what creatures are they going to face next (I can see the creatures guarding the last key with a rather demented one laughing at the ponies stating that them following something connected one of the elder gods is a sure way to die and taunts them that there pathetic concept of morality will just kill them in a rather gruesome matter.
"No one faces a elder god and lives to tell the tale, and even then they be stark raving insane." The creature cackled
why am i expecting something romantic between flutter shy and jack
oh yea
im fucking mental
310044 I assure you, that won't happen.
As I continue to read this, It starts to remind me of this game
QUAD DAMAGE!
this is the coolest fic I've read, why doesn't this fic have hundreds of readers?!?!
one more piece of cthulhu mytho
In 1927, Lovecraft wrote a brief pseudo-history of the Necronomicon that was published in 1938, after his death, as "History of the Necronomicon". According to this account, the book was originally called Al Azif, an Arabic word that Lovecraft defined as "that nocturnal sound (made by insects) supposed to be the howling of demons" (one Arabic/English dictionary translates `Azīf as "whistling (of the wind); weird sound or noise".)[11]
In the History, Alhazred is said to have been a "half-crazed Arab" who worshipped the Lovecraftian entities Yog-Sothoth and Cthulhu. He is described as being from Sanaa in Yemen, and as visiting the ruins of Babylon, the "subterranean secrets" of Memphis and the Empty Quarter of Arabia (where he discovered the "nameless city" below Irem). In his last years, he lived in Damascus, where he wrote Al Azif before his sudden and mysterious death in 738.
In subsequent years, Lovecraft wrote, the Azif "gained considerable, though surreptitious circulation amongst the philosophers of the age." In 950, it was translated into Greek and given the title Necronomicon by Theodorus Philetas, a fictional scholar from Constantinople. This version "impelled certain experimenters to terrible attempts" before being "suppressed and burnt" in 1050 by Patriarch Michael (an historical figure who died in 1059).
The Necronomicon is mentioned in a number of Lovecraft's short stories and in his novellas At the Mountains of Madness and The Case of Charles Dexter Ward. However, despite frequent references to the book, Lovecraft was very sparing of details about its appearance and contents. He once wrote that "if anyone were to try to write the Necronomicon, it would disappoint all those who have shuddered at cryptic references to it."[12]
In "The Nameless City" (1921), a rhyming couplet that appears at two points in the story is ascribed to Abdul Alhazred:
That is not dead which can eternal lie.
And with strange aeons even death may die.
and finally according to Lovecraft's "History of the Necronomicon", copies of the original Necronomicon were held by only five institutions worldwide:
The British Museum
The Bibliothèque nationale de France
Widener Library of Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts
The University of Buenos Aires
The library of the fictional Miskatonic University in the also fictitious Arkham, Massachusetts
The last institution holds the Latin translation by Olaus Wormius, printed in Spain in the 17th century.
Oh shit, bitch be dead.
They dun goofed.
AWWW HELL NAH! THEY DON KILLED TWI' LIGHT! OOOOH THEY GON GET THEY ASSES SERVED UP GOOD MMMHMMM!
god these ponies are getting me pissed with their retardation
why is this the best story on FimFiction? CAUSE IT IS!
You work so hard to write this and yet you ask for nothing in return...
You have rightfully earned a round of heart-felt applause from me there Nintendo.
Also, have a moustache.
@Feyro Daligarus: Thanks mate :)

Next chapter will be a long one. Might probably put it into two parts. So expect it to be a while. In the mean time, what do you think of this story so far?
[youtube=V59HjpBhg0Y]
your entire boss fight reminds me of this boss fight!
P.S. the dude who played through this rehearsed several times before getting this good
Me thinks that this story is well written and splendidly told!
I love this story but the text of Zalgo is very distracting, it takes away from the flow and is very distracting. Just saying you could do a better speech pattern for him.
Part 2 coming soon.
