Phantom, a Heartless like no other.
After its destruction by the hands of Sora, it returned to the Realm of Darkness. However, this was not the end for him. He finds himself in Equestria, tasked with devouring the Heart of the World. Will this Heartless be stopped or will Equestria fall to Darkness?
Takes place just after Magical Mystery Cure but before Princess Twilight Sparkle in MLPverse. KH into KH2 game.

I just like the Heartless, Phantom. Out of every enemy in the KH games, he stood out for some reason to me.

Well once the Playstation Gamers contest is done, I'll be adding on the story. I wanted to try my hands at a crossover and I'm tired of Sora or the Organization (including Roxas) just showing up in Equestria. A Heartless seemed like a new view to exploit.
Since you're a fan though, what do you think of Phantom, in game and in my story?

he took me weeks of patience to get, he was by far the most chalenging thing i faced in that game, the final boss was nothing compared to him
id even created the best gummy ship, named it the arc, and completed every ship way chalenge in the game while getting full marks
but him...
he was by far and still is the most terrifying and powerful heartless ive ever encountered, when i started the second game no one compared, so i found my self going through on number one just to face him, i still have the save.
his look is also like no other, he was my grim reaper, simplistic but terrifying, his ability solidified that idea because he could just end you, not with strength, not with powerful strikes or beams of death, he just pointed at you and ticked your time away, and when i first fought him it was the most terifing prospect, i was fighting a being who could point at me and laugh as he made me watch my life tick away
he will always be my favorite boss and by far the only heartless i felt bad and good about killing at the same time

Alright, didn't expect all that as a response. The one thing I did want to stretch is how I thought he was intelligent. He waited inside of a clock tower before approaching Sora. That seems absurdly smart for a Heartless, who act on basic instinct.

he was the only one who felt like he had intelligence, i honestly felt he should have been the final boss because he felt to me more sinister and the epitome of what a heartless could become, not the purple abominations that you cut down with ease but a being of darkness that truly showed he was fear
you are doing him/her/it great justice and im super pumped to see what you do with him and this story
i will follow to the end, whether he is defeated or triumphant in his endeavor, or should you so wish let this powerful being become ally to equestria in defiance to his master, whatever you choose know this

Her heart was stolen by Phantom, so I don't know how to clarify if she is dead per say. In game, people whose hearts are devoured turn into heartless. Also the premise for the story is dark, Phantom is a heartless, a creature of darkness whose sole purpose is to devour hearts.

Well this is a dark fic nion. You're the second person to make this comment relating to this but I'd like to point a few things out. Phantom is a Heartless, a creature of darkness that seeks out hearts. He's on a leash being held by Xehanort. He doesn't have a sense of morality and doesn't care as to what he does to regain his strength. Though, future chapters may honestly surprise you.

Well, out of all the Heartless, Phantom seemed the most intelligent. He hid inside of a clock tower, Big Ben, and never revealed himself until Sora and co. came looking for him. Not to mention he seemed absurdly strong and was capable of controlling time itself.
Xehanort's heartless, I'm not even a 100% sure if that's even a Heartless at all. I thought it was just his power manifested physically or something like that. I've never been too clear what that thing is entirely. Not that you've brought it up, it's something I may have to look at in the future.

From what I've read so far, this story is pretty good. It has a good premise, and the dark theme going on is quite chilling. I was quite happy that D.T. was Phantom's first victim, but I do feel bad for Lily and Daisy. I hope Roseluck gets out of this okay.
Not sure about seeing Twilight as a Detective. With the amount of cases that don't get solved I could see that breaking her spirit quite easily. She's not the smartest being in the universe. One would get away, then two and it'd go on. We've all seen how she takes failure (really wish they had a Crazy Twilight Emote).

Secondly this is pretty good. Never even played Kingdom Hearts and I like this story. I don't often enjoy stories about things I haven't previously known about so you're doing rather well.
Thirdly. "“Are you saying you’re were just recently assaulted, ma’am?”" It should be "you" not "you're" when in conjunction with something like "were".

Appreciate all of the feedback my friend.
1.Twilight has a rather extensive knowledge of magic and subjects relating to the matter, not to mention she pursues such things as challenges considering how she poured so much time over the box from the tree of harmony. Having her obsess over something such as 'cursed' fire just seemed to appeal to me because she'll try in every conceivable way to figure out who conjured it and how to destroy it.

3. I need to go reword these much more carefully, so thanks for taking the time to point out my mistakes. I enjoy side-characters and hidden bosses because it's so much easier to write their own personal history into a story. Phantom is unique because of its powers and how it was presented in kingdom hearts. If you get the chance, look at its boss battle, its unnaturally powerful.
