I love what you did to him. What you did was exactly what I picture how he act when he first meet Lucky and Wind. I can't wait to see how he would react to Ice. I also like you kept his background a mystery to the reader.

I just read the first chapter, and I think the story has some potential. I am intrigued about how the other elements fit into a picture. It doesn't seem to be an Avatar rip-off, and that is good. You associated different aspects, and different personality traits for each element than in A:TLA. The characterisation is still a bit sketchy, but it always kind of is in the first chapters with OCs. There are however some spelling, and grammar errors in the text. They aren't major ones, but you might get a better reception, if you got rid of them. I would be happy to spell-check this for you. I might not get all of the errors, as English is not my native language, but it's a start.

I just realised how racist everypony is in this thing. Refering to each other as "earth pony" or " unicorn". They never do that in the show, and I think it would be kind of rude in Equestria. Like how it is rude to call someone nigger or asian.
