Thanks very much for the comments and questions. Sorry it's taken so long to reply but I have been mulling over what Hengst looks like. Poor Discord! Poor cat-mouse....thing!
We know Hengst is bad news but Fluttershy doesn't, and Discord just seems to be screwing it up more and more.
I wonder how he's going to fix this, or if he even can?
I love the imaginative use of chaos magic here--all stuff I haven't seen before, and I love the way you write Fluttershy- sweet but not naive.
Ahhh, the way you write Applejack is perfect. I always struggle with her accent. Nice touch on her country knowledge of field mice.
Gender-Swapping! Discord is always a bonus in my book. I suspect he did it to see how much of a cheat Hengst is so he would have some "jerk" evidence to show Fluttershy and was disappointed when he didn't respond!
But Discord's in trouble now...as usual.
Only crit is need longer chapters! Don't mind waiting while you churn out 3000-4000 words--it's hard...I always wanted to press the "publish" button but it's worth it. Suspect you will get more followers too if there's more to read.
