It got me into reading fanfic and reading... period. And that's a big thing for me for having dyslexia.
I used to hate to read because of school and all the "good" stuff that came from it.
So I would like to thank you for showing me all the bad ass story I was missing out.
I'm still bad at reading and I use google translate a LOT but I still try.

5805837 Well, I like to think of it as sort of an uncanny valley effect. As in, they look kind of like humans except fir this thing that throws the whole thing off. As in, they don't look like adorable ponies, they look like weird humans.

Hmm. The first chapter had me skeptical. After all, how out of touch do you have to be think there's anywhere in the world populated by anthropomorphic horses? This nicely settled that question. The power of denial is truly a wondrous thing.
In any case, you definitely seem to have put some thought into the biology of the situation, which I quite like. It does have me wondering how ponies developed hands, especially when their legs still end in single, enormous toes. (Of course, I might as well ask how a mammal developed feathers...)
Also, I'm not sure if that "Of course you didn’t. You’re male." says more about Twilight, Roger, or stallions and men in general.
You have me intrigued. I look forward to more.

Hey, evolution is weird sometimes. It turned dinosaurs into birds, gave a lizard the ability to shoot blood out of its eyes, gave one type of worm twin slime cannons, a fish that grows a fishing lure out of its forehead, and made a mammal that lays eggs. Equines getting hands and feathers isn't that far fetched compared to some of the other stuff evolution does.

Also, will Mr Roger be having a romantic interest in this story? It seems to have that "I'll never fall in love" feel to it. It would be ironic if Cloudchaser actually started liking him, considering how different the two of them are. It would even work reversed.
Though, I could be the only reader of this story that has a love for romantic sub-plots.

Oh. Well, that certainly explains the lack of culture shock. Of course, now Roger has to walk around smelling of ape urine; that's not going to earn him many friends. (I'm split on Discord being unable to offer laundering services. On the one hand, cleaning things isn't exactly a priority of his magic. On the other, this seems like the exact sort of thing he'd find hilarious.)
That said, Twilight seems a little... off. She's used sarcasm often enough to be able to recognize it. I suppose she could just be distracted by this new, exciting friendship problem, but given that apparent inconsistencies have deeper reasons in this story, I'm not sure if that's the case.
