Um... first, and also damn. Them feels. I really enjoyed reading this story. For a shorter composition, it was impeccably written. I enjoyed every moment of this fic. As a "feels" kinda guy, this made me squee, then cry. Well done, sir slash madam. Well done.

I'm not sure a sequel feels appropriate however, given that the story addressed that the avenue Dash was seeking is closed for good, implying that Twilight has found somepony special to her, outside of friendship.

Two things stand out to me after having reread this fic for the first time in a while:
1. It's amazing how irreconcilable this fic has been with canon ever since Newbie Dash came out. It's still good as a fic, but if it had been written now, it definitely would get the AU tag.
2.
Talk about Hilarious In Hindsight, because you called that almost two years in advance.
