But this is not the story of her success where others failed, nor is it of her various travels around the world to protect those who are ignorant of the dangers set against their lives.
This story is of her disappearance and the new nation she decided to protect.

The beginning of this is interesting so far, and I love Lanval's snarky attitude. She should get along well with the ponies, no question. Rather spoiler-ish at the end there, though. Guess we know she won't be going home.

It really is a fantastic film. Colin Firth is absolutely fantastic and Sam Jackson plays well against type. Action is very well done, fights well staged though there is the use of a bit much CGI I think in some places. Excellent humour. Honestly worth paying for in theaters if still playing in your area.

The language barrier was a nice twist. I look forward to seeing how that's resolved. Personally, if you're not going for a universal translation spell, Michael Crichton had a good way in Eaters of the Dead where translated words would appear in the dialogue as the protagonist learned more of the language. It's something I always found cool but never see used.
