My stories have a 1/1000 chance of teleporting you back in time to the Siege of Leningrad.

Twilight Sparkle discovers that the library's archive of movies is incomplete, and missing a mysterious film known only as Attack of the Smooze! Armed with nothing more than a list and Pinkie Pie, Twilight sets out to find this lost piece of cinema, and along the way hopefully discover why every pony in Ponyville refuses to talk about it.

:rainbowlaugh: I loved this little story.
Totally can see this turned into an episode.

That was absolutely fantastic! A few spelling errors aside, this work could have been an actual episode. The characters were on the spot. Good lesson at the end. And the Princesses chilling with the movie swag? Classic.

GLORIOUS, I SAY!!!

I think I can safely say that this is going to get a following in the near future.

"A few spelling errors aside"

MY ONLY WEAKNESS

But yeah, I try to catch them as I go.

Marvelous story! I'm glad to know even ponies enjoy a good Z-movie from time to time:yay::yay::yay:
I also loved your cover image.

Hopefully you will give the story another proofread and some section breaks, it really deserves the additional care.

Unfortunately, as an aspiring physicist, I have to tell you that 3-D glasses wouldn't work at all, since the movie has to be shot with two seperate cameras and then screened with two projectors.:twistnerd:

And today I sold my soul to Luna to make this story into an actual episode. Hope it does. :derpytongue2:

This is just hilarious. Good work.

Dear goodness gracious gratuitous gold grabbing golly! This story was so excellent, I'm going to give out such an outrageously in-depth comment!

First things first, let's get the elephant in the room out of the way: there were spelling and punctuation errors, blah, blah, blah, big whoop. Get a pre-reader, read your story aloud twice before posting, easy fixes. I've never really found grammar and mechanics to be especially pivotal, and unless they were blatantly terrible it's never affected my enjoyment of a story before.

Now the story itself, was a whole other animal. I mean I'd even go so far as to say the plot is on par with the actual writing from the show. It was funny, vivid, I could actually visualize half of what was going on, and let me tell you it looked fantastic. Your humor was on point, and the part about the actual movie was gold as well. You've also convinced me never to buy anything from the Flim-Flam brothers somewhere along the way. My word, this was just...

Please, keep on kicking ass, but decline names with style.

That was COMEDY GOLD. dl.dropbox.com/u/31471793/FiMFiction/Luna_lolface.png

I applaud your masterful creation of a terrible, terrible film! And the bit with the princesses at the end was priceless. :trollestia:

ALL MY MOUSTACHES! ALL OF THEM!

:moustache::moustache::moustache::moustache::moustache::moustache:

Next up: Nine Humans from Outer Space: Equestria vs. Megashark vs. Robot Nazis :coolphoto:

But yeah, this is a hilarious fic that feels just like a canon episode.

I dunno, I wouldn't trust this guy's review. He is your antagonist after all.

No, but this story was great! The plot is very much like what you'd see in an episode. The princesses at the end were absolutely priceless.

For some reason, one paragraph early on was extremely funny to me. "Then again, Pinkie Pie." :pinkiehappy: :facehoof:

Enjoy my traditional star-and-thumb combo.

This story better be featured :pinkiehappy:

It was filmed in magic 3-D.

Episodic!

And terrible movies can sometimes loop around the spectrum and be incredibly amazing.

:pinkiegasp::pinkiegasp::pinkiegasp::pinkiegasp::pinkiegasp::pinkiegasp::pinkiegasp::pinkiegasp::pinkiegasp::pinkiegasp::pinkiegasp::pinkiegasp::pinkiegasp::pinkiegasp: Take my thumbs! Both of them!

That was... Incredible. Now, I'll just go watch Plan 9 again.

Totally see this down as an episode. Hopefully if they bring it to a fourth season, I really hope that they do, because 3 seasons are not enough pony for this Brony.

Funny and charming. But I get the strangest feeling that something was missing, but I can't put my finger on WHAT.

Damnit. I forgot to add flume to this fic.

You get my upvote only for the three last line.

Celestia with 3D glasses? Win. :yay:

I sincerely hope that this climbs its way into the featured list. You did a very fine job, and if I did not laugh out loud, I certainly smiled. :rainbowkiss:

I'm not sure how to describe what I just read....It's a good comedy about a bad parody of a good classic....I like it. And I'm surprised that no one else has mentioned the Blob yet.

This was great. Good job.

That was great. :rainbowlaugh:

I LOVE THIS STORY!:raritystarry::pinkiehappy: Keep up the good work.

I LOVE THIS STORY!! TAKE ALL MY THUMBS AND MA FAVORITE!!:pinkiecrazy:

I lol'd and for some reason d'aaaawed in a couple places. Am I weird?

Wow, I Favorited this as it truly was good enough and in line with the show, even the ending where you had twilight's letter monolog going at the same time the episode was still wrapping up.

But putting it in my favorites just doesn't seem to be enough, I mean I have lots of good stuff in my favorites but this is like a whole other level, like featured favorites.

Have you submitted this to EQD?

Oh my gosh this brings back memories of movies from the 50s. :rainbowlaugh: Write more please!

Me: IT'S THE SMOOOOOZEEEEE!!!!! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!!:raritycry:

Pinkie: Because it's flooding all of Equestria?:pinkiegasp:

Me: WORSE!!!! IT'S GONNA SING AGAIN!!!!!:raritydespair:

Pinkie:*screams in horror*:raritycry:

WARNING:THIS NEEDS TO BE A REAL EPISODE.... IM GONNA FREAKIN EMAIL THIS TO HASBRO THIS FRICKEN INSTANT I HOPE YOU DO TOO!

Just as well; producers of the show are not allowed to read fanfictions for legal reasons.

1902271 Well thats nice to know now!

ITS THE BLOB RUN FOR YOUR LIVES
Also wasnt its weakness the cold?

Why is this the only fic on FimFiction that even has the word Smooze in it? Other than the stupid face they put on it... because it was the previous generations (oh gods why), the Smooze is an interesting concept. Unstoppable goo that overcomes whatever is in its path, and makes whoever it touches slowly lose all happiness and want for life. From what I've heard, and like to believe, in some other fic that mentions it ONCE, the Smooze once essentially destroyed Equestria. Cloudsdale, while not the oldest city, is the oldest original city, because the others were rebuilt after the Smooze destroyed them. Thats an interesting concept if I know one.

Very well done, a great story. It was very funny to read, it really felt like it could be an actual episode, and the lesson at the end is very valuable. In fact, I should start applying it to myself :twilightblush:

As a maker of (intentionally) cheesy, incredibly stupid movies, I appreciate this. It's the same reason I love Godzilla and Ultraman. It's so bad it's good. Hilarious story, and funny reference with the Smooze from the older generations MLP. I also got a bit of a The Blob vibe here, and considering that I have (unfortunately) seen that movie, it makes this all the funnier!

I could almost feel the wrongness of the movie.
:rainbowlaugh:
Bra-vo!

This has the same exact cover art as Blueshift's Home Is Where The Harp Is... and yet I don't think it could have gone any more differently! :rainbowlaugh: That certainly defied expectations.
(And like everyone else has said... These stories are definitely episode material! :coolphoto: )

This was cute. I figured it was either going to be a porn movie or a really aweful B movie, but I forgot the "everyone" rating ruled out the former. I liked the end where it turns out Celly and Luna show up.

*Grins* My elementary school had a series of picture books that tied into those old black and white films. The blob was always one of my faves.:rainbowlaugh:

Very funny, very nice story!

My first thoughts upon seeing this story:

I'll probably read this soon, looks very interesting.

Hehe, that was great. Reading it ate up my whole between-classes break, and I REGRET NOTHING! :rainbowlaugh:

OMG! The horror the horror!
The B-Grade horror flick! :rainbowlaugh: This just shows that even ponies can enjoy a good train wreck movie!

Oh, that was hilarious! It's like I was actually watching the whole thing play out as an actual movie. Well done.:moustache:
