“Uh-huh, yeah. And fat.”

That made me laugh! :rainbowlaugh:

A stallion has stolen my baby!

And that made my stomach hurt. :rainbowderp:

I've never seen either of these two themes used in pony fanfiction before. Not the self-image issues, nor the ending. Guh, the dark tag is super-duper in place for a reason, I see.

It's a cool little one-shot, all the more bitter for its candy-colored exterior. Nice job.

Lol, I'm glad that it made you laugh at that part. :twilightsheepish: I wanted to portray kind of a rude teenager who has a lot to learn but thinks she knows it all, and I'd like to think I did that part right.

Yeah, I wanted it to take that kind of a turn that almost puts a sour taste in your mouth, where the story starts to give you a bad feeling as it progresses, but all the while making it a bit uncertain as to what is about to happen. I'd also like to think I managed that well enough too, especially for a late-night story.

My fiance has been bugging me to write another half to this story, he can't seem to handle not knowing how things turned out for little Rosie. I did indeed have a second part in mind, but had thus far opted not to write it. What do you think? Should it be left in this manner, leaving the reader to wonder while I know what happens, or should I continue the story on.

I would say don't write any more to this story. At least, not to answer questions for the reader. The story needs to have that twisty, dark feeling much more than we need resolution. The only good reason I see to continue would be if the story had more to say beyond this cliffhanger. If there was more you could surprise us with, more that might make us feel even -more- queasy, then I'd say go for it.
