Don't think it needs a sequel, though I won't mind seeing a little interaction between Latte and Chai, maybe a little bit of Latte giving Maple a little update.

5681336 That's what the second tier of the contest was going to answer if she did it, though I get the feeling she isn't going to be doing it, so I would need to ask her if I could write a second chapter anyway. If there is not a second contest, then I think I'll just write a blog explaining the basic premise of the second chapter, which would include details like how Chai knew, etc.
Hm. Well, I know nothing about these OCs other than what I see in the story, so I don't know that I can evaluate it totally fairly, but this was still entertaining! The first part felt like it meandered -- the line about Ponyville was cute, but it felt like there was a lot of exposition (about half the story) before the hook really kicked in and the action took off. It definitely got better as it went on. The romance-novel thing made me smile. That final bit was unexpected, and definitely ended the story on a high note.

You have no idea how happy I was when I saw the title. It seems like too many stories have something like "Changing Times" as/in the title and I just sit there thinking about how they missed a golden opportunity.
