And no, Twilight only wanted to stun or perhaps cripple discord; the backfire was strengthened by the volatile chaos that reflected it.

And okay that makes sense i also kinda thought about it afterwords and realized it probably takes a lot less to kill Twilight then it does Discord even in alicorn form hes still a god type existence.
