"I can't d o my gig without them." type-o
You start a lot of sentences with "I" some deviation from that would be nice.
I personally don't like Vinyl being so rude to the person who's employing her. If she wants to be invited back you'd think she'd be nice, These people are how she makes a living so I'd expect her to be nice to them of all people. <--Again, that's all personal opinion.
The description made me expect a story which only consists of Vinyl talking about how she feels when she plays, not a about how she gets to where she plays. However the story was still enjoyable.
Good start. I look forward to your future works.

1. Toweling my wet hair till it was dry I threw the now damp towel on the bed. I start looking around my room for my glasses and headphones. I can't d o my gig without them.
