Warbalist

T

Two short stories written for the Fallout: Equestria group's Hearts and Hooves Day contest.

In "The Figurine", Jimmy the Mule and Galena have a date in Celestia's Acre and find a figurine that looks like her. Jimmy wants to talk about their past, but Galena is hesitant. Will Jimmy be successful in getting her to spill the beans?

In "What's Really Important" Fate finds herself on a quest for clarity about her own past, but winds up in the middle of an ancient affair between two lovers. Their secret would change her life.

Wonderful dialogue, and just a bit of world setting. Simple, clean, and well executed. fc09.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2014/103/a/1/maud_by_comeha-d7ee4tv.gif

I liked What's Really Important even better. Much more intrigue, but hardly on topic for this contest. roundstable.com/forums/images/smilies/applejargh.gif Well done.

I don't think it's off-topic, but I can see how others would view it. It's still a love story, just with a downer ending.

At any rate, we'll see what DerpyDaringDitzyDoo thinks, as they're the judge, jury and executioner of this whole shindig. :moustache:

I'm late. Shucks.

This was a nice reprieve from the heavier aspects of Fertile Ground, and I have a feeling we'll be seeing that figurine appearing here and there in the main story. Buy the Valentines Day Figurine DLC!

COULDN'T FIND ANY.

And this is considerably more heavy. Arms can't hold this and I know I should be lifting with my knees oh no.

At least Fate has the answer to her question. She's real alright. A little on the test tube baby side, but real enough, her robot bits notwithstanding. And now she has to wonder what happened to her less test tube-y sister. Valentines Day Patricide DLC.

Solid Fate

"Mrs. Sandmare shoveled his trademark into Fate’s eyes." Mrs. Sandmare is Mr.Doubtfire.

"Also, your suggestions and research over the years has been invaluable." Have been valuable.

"Files save in several locations." Not sure about this one. SP was a weird one, so it might be intentional or it could be saved.

"She looked over to where Dr. Stroma Pop’s body lay" Lied. Lay would be used if Fate was the one who put him there, for instance, "Fate lay Dr. Stroma Pop's body down there." Read more about it here.
