In a sense all of the mane six have the potential to ascend to become Alicorns in some way or another (although Pinkie would more likely become a draconequus like discord).
This seems like it definitely be a good read in day to come as it updates.
This is too short to say yet how good it will be, but it's OK so far. Most stories that make the other ponies into alicorns are really awkward and forced. This chapter is better than that; it flows well. Keep up the good work.

You might wanna... slow down a little. The chapters are nice, but there mushing to much stuff into so little words. Try adding more description or scenes to fix that.
