I really suggest you read The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. I feel like there are elements in it that would go great with your writing style.
This story was better than I thought it was going to be. I love the kind of humor you use, it's kind of dry and charming.
There were a few typos and it was hard to follow at some small spots, but it was a good story overall. Hope you keep writing.

I think your version of him is the best one out there.
At first I saw that this story had Flash Sentry in it. My beef with him is how he became such a big part of the movies, even having a cameo in the series and there is just no depth to that pond. But then I started reading and when I hit the second chapter I was pleasantly surprised. I look forward to more when you continue with this story.
