This is... Good. I don't normally read sad, but I have to make an exception for this. Scootaloo is one of my favorite ponies, and... This kinda moved me. I didn't shed a tear but still... I could (sadly) imagine this happening. Have a thumb, sir.

my only complaint was the doctor was so easily willed into letting dash take scootaloo. I feel like they would have protested it in her severe condition, as it was likely to kill her. I would have loved to see dash sneak scoot out after her request was denied (she knows scoot doesn't have much time, and shes willing to do anything to grant scoots last wish)
Other than that it wa very heart warming

I can assure you, any similarities are purely coincidental. MLP is not one of my main fandoms. MLP does not even register as one of the subfandoms for which I read/write.
In all honesty, the inspiration for this fic came from "My Little Dashie" (as much as I dislike the story) ,the Make a Wish Foundation- and, as previously mentioned, "The Scarlett Ibis"
