This story is a sequel to Cards Against Equinity
Against her better judgement, Twilight accepts an invitation to try a different card game with her friends.
What could possibly go wrong this time?
Written for the Writeoff's January "All In" prompt, and serves as a interquel of sorts between Cards Against Equiniti I and II.
IT'S HAPPENI-....oh no wait....it's not.....not YET
This was originally set out to be only tangentially related to CAE to see if anyone in the WriteOff would notice (only a couple did), but I added some more connections in the expansion to over a thousand words, so I reckon it counts as a sequel.
It's still very silly though.
Yyyyeah...VERY small chance of a full house if there's a JACK on the table and Twilight has a QUEEN.
Moral of the story: NEVER play card games against Pinkie. You will never beat her and that dreaded Pinkie Sense, which allows her to predict the future, especially what she will get in poker.
: Curse you, Pinkie!!!!!!!
: (sigh) Poor Twi still doesn't respect the ol' Pinkie Sense....
: That's why you always fold if Pinkie decides to go all in.
You might have hit space a few too many times there.

I knew something was wrong.

I do apologise. Part of the editing involved switching the Jacks to Queens, and that one slipped through.

Both fixed. Cheers!
I assume that's supposed to be "pat on the back". That aside, I'm liking this so far.

I have no idea how that happened. It was "pat" before. Nevermind. Fixed!
I wrote a review of this story. It can be found here.
I would've definitely folded against Pinkie, my sanity isn't worth risking.
Pinkie is quite the Joker. And the Joker's Wild!
Most excellent.
