Not sure how this will work out. But its nice to see there is at least a chance for Nightmare Moon to grow into something other than being a monster.
Also seeing spike grow up into such a perceptive and kind dragon, as well as a natural lover, gives me warm fuzzies.

He's actually met her before, you know. As Nightmare Moon. Briefly, before he fainted, in the Season One two-part opener.
While I don't think Princess Luna is a virgin, Nightmare Moon might well never have been with anyone. Her only previous existence was, after all, as a wrathful emnation or Shadow possessor of Princess Luna, she didn't get much time on Earth, and she was kinda busy with trying to conquer the Realm at the time. And her characteristic vices are Wrath and Envy, rather than Lust.
Spike's Dragonmusk must be pretty awesome to have that much effect on her. On the other hand, it might not work on a more balanced personality, such as the real Princess Luna, who has enough complexity to not simply be pulled about willy-nilly by stray desires. Nightmare Moon is much simpler.
That explains why Spike boarded up the castle. He really didn't want to have every mare in Ponyville climbing through the windows looking for sex. Among other things, he probably likes the Ponies of Ponyville too much to humiliate them like that.
He would know, being closely related by adoption and marriage to two of them -- Twilight Sparkle and Cadance Mi Amore. Which makes this quite a compliment, since he's saying she's hotter than the Alicorn of Love.
... something that would normally be sheathed in armor plating. But then, Spike's kind of turned on right now.
Nightmare Moon, incidentally, would have seen Spike before. But only briefly, from a point of view of "Wait, was there a baby dragon riding that lavender unicorn a moment ago? Who just fainted and fell off? Wow, Equestria's gotten weird over the last millennium ..."
Ironically, my version of Princess Luna was once quite friendly with Dragons (though not quite this friendly) and would probably be well aware of all the details of draconic anatomy. But Nightmare Moon probably never bothered when possessing Luna to consult her memories of the shape and size of Dragon penises (which she might have briefly glimpsed in some context), because ... well, why would she? Note that in All the Way Back, Luna befriends Fischfootur, but is not at all interested in trying to seduce him.
Even though my Dragons often do mate for life, I agree with the main thrust of the analysis of draconic psychology here -- it is largely a matter of either protecting a hoard or protecting the people they care about, and if they love people they see them as their "hoard." And Spike is about as enlightened as Dragons get.
Though I still think he's more likely to wind up with Rarity.
By the way, try reading the story with this playing in the background ...

I would have like to have read what happened after, Moon and Spikes relationship and how they really got to know each other. And the reactions,
"HOLY GUACAMOLE! Did I just? With her?"
"A Dragon? Well that's not something you wake up to everyday."
Not the best but you get the idea.
I would love to see this become a full story
Loved this one-shot (even through I want there to be more chapters) and this is every cute so keep up the good work and if you get time you should make more for this
