Those laws include, but are not limited to, inter-racial relationships. No pegasus shall mate with an earth pony or unicorn, nor shall an earth pony mare with a pegasus or unicorn, and the same goes for unicorns about pegasi or earth ponies.
Secondly, there shall be no tolerance for same-sex relationships.
Those are strictly enforced, but not as frowned upon as the third and final law: there shall never be a combination of the previous two. If any is discovered, it will result in the immediate execution of both ponies accused.
Rainbow Dash has had to live with these laws for most of her life. She kept her lifestyle a secret, until she met the mare that would change her life forever... and put her in more danger than she had ever been in before.

Just a heads up Intra-racial (as in your description) means within a race, so earth ponies would only be allowed to have a relationship with pegasi or unicorns. You seem to have gotten it right in the actual chapter though.

And that is because they are the MAIN characters of the show, and therefore the most recognizable and also the ones that people will care about the most because they know, from more than one or two episodes, how they act and such. Plus we are already attached to them. Which people very well may be to other characters who we've only seen once, but again: we've only seen them once.
