Chris has been kept hidden from the world almost his whole life, but now he's got friends and even love. But, as a human in a pony world, how would he celebrate one of the biggest holidays in their world?

A seasonal oneshot from the story "The Monster of Canterlot". The story does not necessarily represent any future plans for the plot of the original story.

Great special. I loved it.

That was cute.Got me into the season even.

Ok I know this one is defiantly not cannon, for the fact that Celestia actually ask him 'NOT' to tease him with Shy, witch in the normal story she still wish a grandchild, heck, she probably will try her best to keep them alone on a room, with some romantic ambient and Dante will be flush for Celestia plans

5415262 True she wants grandfoals, but no mother wants to hear her son talk about bumping uglies

Hey you know what would be awesome as a punch line? that the when Chris go to his bedroom he find a note from the REAL Santa saying

'Thanks for keep the dream alive, hope you enjoy my little gift, and you can rest from now on I will take it from here prince Christ, with love your good friend

-S N
Ps: Hope you don't mind I use your name last night too'

Later he just hear a tons of citizen approaching the castle and when he open the window of his balcony see all the citizen of Canterlot with a giant smile on their faces and with new toys and gifts all screaming thank you to prince Chris.

5421643 That would have been nice but I don't think it would have fit

5422124
Yeah, at least it was a nice touch

5421643 I would have thought such an ending too blunt, to be honest.

I just realized something you accidentally called Gurfon a lady.
You said "Mom, Aunt Luna, Twi, Fluttershy, Rainbow, Uncle Gurfon, would you ladies care to join us?"

6399325 He was especially pretty that day:raritywink:

My parents never said there was a Santa Claus. A couple of decades later I look back and am happier for it. We celebrated the reason for the holiday, the birth of our savior Jesus. Saint Nicholas was an amazing philanthropist and is the reason for the tradition of hanging stockings from the mantle of the fireplace. I can say the kids are no less off for parents telling the truth.

Doesn't make me enjoy stories with Santa in them any less though just like all fictional characters.

7175475 I don't know how I should take that :rainbowhuh:. It's true, Santa is based many different people and legends. In fact, the name is from a pronunciation of Saint Nicholas, the patron saint of children. I have no disagreement with telling kids the truth just as I have no problem with telling kids about Santa. Either way works.

"Chris x Fluttershy" feels less forced this time around. I really enjoy this.

From the Christmas of 2023 I want to say this is perfect
