Crossover with the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers
An accident causes Queen Chrysalis to be freed from her prison long thought lost. In response to this, Princess Celestia asks Twilight to select five "Teenagers with attitude" to become Equstria's greatest heroes.
To become the Mighty Morphin' Power Ponies!
Rated teen for violence and a swear or two.

Yes! It continues! Pretty good job laying out their personalities. I also like that you didn't try and make them carbon copies of the real Rangers. Keeping them in character will make it much more interesting. I can't wait to see what this will look like once the action kicks in!

5636667 Thanks! I decided to try and make my own rangers since I haven't got a carbon copy or Rita Repulsa either. I decided to try a more serious version, a bit less cartoony...Kind of ironic really, given the crossover! Lol

Always good to have character development. Now just to start hypothesizing on the sixth ranger... though I have a few hunches. On a side note in terms of reimagining power rangers and giving them development, you might want to look up Teenagers with Attitude on You Tube, its a fan film by Zordon Fanfilm. It has plenty of effort put in, and some clever ideas.

I'm liking what I've read of this so far, so I'll comment on the specific parts I liked.
I like the explanation for why the power coins have to be given to teenagers. That was something that kinda bothered me when I was a little kid. Why not have adults with actual combat experience.
I also like the coins test. That seems like something they would do on the actual show.
Also, dammit Scootaloo! Why did you have to say those six words?
7143356 Thanks! I was bothered by that in the show too, so I decided to have an explanation. Admittedly it's not a great one, but hey it's better than nothing.
The power coin test was actually inspired by the episode of Dino Thunder when Tommy had to confront his previous Rangers Persona's before he could access his Brachion Powers. So, glad it worked out!
And with Scoots...Yeah, in this story, I'm trying to portray her as Somepony who says things without really thinking about it. As hinted in her test. Glad it's coming across!
