God, I hate this Twilight. The hypnosis scenes are awesome, which to my blood pressure's peril will probably keep me coming back to these if more are in the making, but DAMN I want this Twilight to die.
Of course, I would be remiss if I didn't point out that it takes a pretty good writer to make a character so convincingly deserving of such utter loathing. So, as I said to Tehponiplz for "Let the Music Flow", you, my fellow author, have made me angry. Well done!

5357181 This is true. However, I still wanted to beat that Vinyl to a pulp by the end of it. Any character that shows a complete lack of regard for the personality, the aspirations, the experiences, etc, that make up one that they're controlling, and will happily destroy all that in favor of having an empty and malleable tool will unfailingly drive me up the wall, even more so when they don't care whether or not it's reversible.
In Perfect Cadence, Octavia certainly twisted Angel's personality, but didn't blithely destroy it. Had the story gone on and such a thing happened, I probably would have responded in the same way I am now. (It was quite spectacularly written, by the way.)
I don't know if i should be turned on, or be creeped out by this. Either way, this was excellent.

Wow, I don't think I can think of a more evil thing to do to an individual, you kill there soul and have them love every secound of it. Just sick. 10/10 for making me hate Twilight more then most villains in the show.
I love Twilight, I love Twilight being evil, I love Twilight being dominant, I love mind control, and I love your writing; with all that added up this series is easily top-tier, and if that sequel hook at the end is indicative of more from you on this subject I'm absolutely looking forward to it!

5638103 Hmm... I don't know how far the creator is willing to go. I LOVE this series to death, though, and call me a sick bastard, but I actually don't want to see Twilight get caught. Maybe have her start a secret Cult of the Snake with her and her friends, and Twilight further and further refines her technique (I think her power as a lamia will grow as she does lamia-like things like she is doing here), so that she eventually brings the whole town under her control without anypony noticing a thing...
Mmm... nah! Keep it small and simple! Just induct the rest of Twilight's friends, and maybe a few more... leave it on a cliffhanger after that, with Twilight just lounging amidst all five of her friends in a coiled-up pile at dusk, plotting her next move. Gosh, I have no idea why this turns me on so much. It's just something about POWER that speaks to my very soul. It's up to the author, of course, but I hope that whatever he does, he keeps the formula that has worked. I grow bored with fics that shoehorn a disassembling of the 'protagonist's' plot by some OP force, like the Princesses. Oh, man, I still remember how unbelievably enraged I was at the end of Battle for Middle-Earth II: Shadows of Angmar, because you're sitting on your new dark kingdom at the crest of its power... and then... gah, not gonna spoil it. Oh, well.
