It's not that she doesn't love them, but she has been isolated because of her eyes and because of her parents 'jobs' being the kind of workplace that you can get family and friends hurt by association. She left to make a life for herself and ironically put her parents in danger in doing so as she got involved with the spirits.
Lovely sure jumped into responsibility, though she isn't doing bad. I'm not super familiar with Stardew Valley but I suspect you've left the source material far behind at this point.

I've defiantly strayed from the original material but I'm also keeping as much of it as possible close at heart in the overall story. The game has a special place in my gaming catalogue and memory given it helped me through some dark times.
Well, that's a twist.
To be fair, Lovely took being told her destiny didn't support her course of action about as well as any self respecting person would and flipped the table.
I don't know where this is going beyond a crossover. But I'm curious now.
